That looks very nice mate, like the way you've modded the dash to blend that screen in :)
What's going on with the rims though, have you got 20" rims on 19" rubber?
Well spotted ... :winky:
Tyre wall says 235/35/19
btw car looks lovely :D

thanks for the help, but im not in the UK, so it would be very to much, to get it to the USA. Is it true that the AT has 2 H20 sensor in the down pipe? and the MT only has 1
correct ... it's because it has a 2 mini cats just after the manifold

That also means the LF-A is on the way too as the GS-F is supposed to be using the same engine
rumour has it that the LF-A is on hold for now

Lexus GS F Confirmed, LS F Is Pending
Hirokazu Koga, general manager of the Lexus Development Center responsible for the Lexus IS F has made it very clear that Lexus GS F and LS F models are on the horizon. According to Koga-san, the GS F will be touting a 500 hp+ engine, while the LS F model is currently in consideration by the business unit. The highly successful sales of the IS F helped inspire this decision to extend the "F" models, and we'll update you guys with more details on the GS F nd LS F once more info leaks out.
wow that looks mega B)

You will need to use the 30A relay that comes with the horn as the OEM won't do ... these horns draw a lot of power and will blow fuses if installed poorly... it doesn't take that much longer to do a proper safe job so why chance it?
-
Ya when it's cold it restricts the performance until it's up to normal operating temperature.. that's why you can't select lower than 3rd on the tiptronic mode ;)
You have to drop the pan to get access to the mesh filter ...
What colour is the fluid itself? is there any hint of pink left or is it gone all black?
A good service and reset should hopefully sort it for ya .... :)

Perhaps a Mod can move this thread to the correct section... ie not IS250/220D/250C ;)

Getting mine done by the 'Doctor , 75 per wheel , including diamond cutting.
Who is the doctor?
It's mentioned above ... the wheel doctor in Tipperary does a great job, I've seen the wheels he did for Siobhan (Ms_beams) and they were perfect, he manages to do the diamond edge as well
I think this is him http://www.wheeldoctor.ie/contact2.php

I didn't think we heard enough ( incar ) to say all that though....?

Maybe time to put this thread to bed?
Tony you don't want to come across as the aggressor, his user name has been mentioned and now there's pics of the car, i don't see anything positive being gained from continuing but there's definitely a chance that it'll get worse and you don't deserve any bad press....
just chalk it down as lesson learned you won't be stung so easily again ;)
just my take on it :)

ok since i got the repairs done on my car.i have had problems with the geometry its just not right.they said it had been done twice but i don't beleve them one bit.so i decided to phone my insurance company to complain.i will be waiting for a engineer to phone me in the next 48 hours.i am going to go to a garage of my choice in aberdeen to get the work done and am not paying a bean for it,i will be giving them the wim settings to make my car handle like it was supose to handle.will keep all posted on the progress on this, wish me luck guys
Have the WIM settings been officially endorsed? we all know they work but for insurance companies it's probably "factory" settings only i would presume?

He said the suspension is rock hard! So what's your opinion Looney??
After watching it go round their track it didn't look hard enough in my opinion...
As Prolex said they deffo need a variable setting

if ya are using the e-shift and leave it in 2nd is there much chance of a bit of a drift.or diffin around a roundabout.
just wondering if its worth changing my differential. thanks for info noel.
absolutely ;) , but like i said without a clutch it's hard to balance the power and it could go very wrong...
we're getting abit

The Boris factory kit is a 5.1 :)
I thought of doing similar but with mine being an Auto there wouldn't be much difference / benefit ...
IS200 manual in europe (with 1g-fe engine) 3,909:1
IS200 auto 4,100:1
Altezza Rs200 manual was 4.1 for the early models but supposedly changed in 2001 to a final drive of 4.3,
My 2000 Auto has a A650 gearbox and a 4.3 final drive as far as i've been able to find out :)

hi noel
i remember seeing your altezza at japfest, i was parked next to ya.(Dan)
quick question i have an open axel and was wondering if i change to the torsion lsd is there much difference in the automatic. can your car do rings correctly, mine just spins the hell out of one tire.
i very rarely do them but would like to be able to slide a bit better.
it can but not on dry tarmac ( small bit of gravel does the trick )... can get very sideways on a damp T-junction but not for the faint hearted as the power delivery is hard to gauge without a clutch ... If you get on the power too early leaving a damp roundabout you could very easily end up facing the wrong way ...
Since i fitted the wider rear wheels and set up the geometry i haven't done a ring as she refuses to break away ....
take it handy :)

i not sure so many thoughts goin through my head, have never drove an altezza either so i dont no the difference.
may sound odd but i like the dark green of my is200 and i happy enough with its looks. i no there are things i can do to it like a s/charger but that only brings it up to near the 220bhp of a tezza.
anyone have any performance figures of a s/charged is200 e.g. o-60 and quarter mile.
and the same figures for a standard tezza.?
have been planning nitrous for the is200 after christmas wit a progressive controller for about 220bhp and yes i have had insurance quotes but its still only a standard tezza power.
Firstly an RS200 has 207bhp from factory (210ps) not 220 bhp and then only when ran on 100ron fuel...
factory quoted 0-60 is 7.2 seconds for the manual transmission
Supercharger is said to knock 2 seconds off the IS200's 0-60 so nothing in it ...
Seen a supercharged IS200 (217bhp on dyno) go head to head with a RS200 (201bhp on dyno) all the ways to 140MPH and there was nothing in it..
If you really like the car you have then supercharging is something to keep in mind...
-
Be prepared for a shock as since June the diesels have come down by thousands and are on a new cheap road tax so your '06 will not be easy to sell on.... i'd guess they'll offer you around 20-23K as a trade in ...
ring them and report back :)

350hp before a new tranny rebuilt. Got to get a tranny cooler though.
The Altezza box must be a LOT stronger than the IS200 one!
He is from the US of A Stav, he might be on about the is300 mate ?
He is from the Dominican Republic a Carribean island next to Cuba they do very nice all inclusive holidays and I wish I was there right now with 30 deg C!
Having said that supercharging any car out there is risky, last time I went the locals weren't sure which side of the road to drive on!
Is not always son hot over here right now the temp. is a cool 27 deg and at night is a really nice 25,24 deg, and believe me there's a lot of turbo cars over the 400hp jejeje, and dude dont compare the taxi drivers to the rest off the people that drive, cuz the taxi driver here drive insane, so getting back to the topic no one knows how much does the AT box of the rs200 can take?
What gearbox code is yours?
Mine is an A650E which is the same box in the IS300 ...
but i know one guy who's on his second box after only supercharging it .... alot depends on the driver too
Chargers for the RS200 are Blitz and power enterprise but both are rare these days ....
