park on a smooth surface and open the front windows and with the engine running lock the wheels left to right a few times....
hear anything?

i don't know ... it kinda sounds good to me, no more playing safe, have to go for it.... i think it's unlikely if a driver wins 11/20 races that they would sit back and do nothing, winners like to win...
should be interesting

The Boris factory kit is a 5.1 :)
I thought of doing similar but with mine being an Auto there wouldn't be much difference / benefit ...
IS200 manual in europe (with 1g-fe engine) 3,909:1
IS200 auto 4,100:1
Altezza Rs200 manual was 4.1 for the early models but supposedly changed in 2001 to a final drive of 4.3,
My 2000 Auto has a A650 gearbox and a 4.3 final drive as far as i've been able to find out :)

have these fitted, very good and no problems so far ... :)

seen on the traffic monitoring cameras hammering it, only thing is though the police cannot prosecute him as they had no evidence of speed :).
well the street lights are placed at a equal set distance so they could easily get a speed that way...
Speed = Distance/Time ;)
so was the road closed at that time?
-
So what happened to him? what did they clock him at?
-
Ya agree ... a dremel is only for very small items, handy cutter though

neat vinegar applied with a clean cloth along the blade with rejuvinate an older blade or one making noises
Tried all the tricks but it keeps coming back even went so far as to even change the windscreen (although technically it was cracked :P )
bought the good washer fluid an all ... hopefully the new ones will keep me sane ...

I've been meaning to replace my few month old Bosch Aerotwins pretty much ever since i got them, yesterday driving back from Glasgow they wouldnt wipe away hailstones, the wiper just kept leaving big streaks, not to mention the squeaking noises they make.......dont get me started anyway just ordered me a set of these PIAA bad boys, hopefully they'll be great :)
Hmmm, maybe I'm not the only one who had trouble with the Aerotwins then.......are you going to send them back? In my view there must be some quality control issues as it can't be normal (the way mine were anyway)
Got mine from Speeding.co.uk too :)
Have a set of PIAA ordered myself as the basic Bosch ones i got from Halfords and driving me crazy... passenger one doesn't clean completely and the drivers one makes a racket ...

Yeh its something i see on the news but dont expect it to happen on my doorstep, Quite worrying as they still havnt caught the person that shot him
Not sure why mate he's 25 and his girlfriend is 26 and no details have been released as of yet to why its happend??
You will prob find, he is in some sort of gang or group, as most people dont just get shot for nothing :o
A guy got shot dead over here yesterday, what makes it worse is it was a mistaken identity as he looked like someone from particular feuding gang ... so sad

Try this site instead of eBay http://www.speeding.co.uk/acatalog/copy_of...per_Blades.html
I have bought stuff from them in the past and it was first rate and their shipping is the most reasonable I've ever seen for a UK company selling to Ireland :)

215/40 will fit fine :) , but the 225/40 is ideal for 7.5j
only slight cons is you'll have a bit less sidewall with 215/40's and more of a chance scratching the rim

Ya i "predict" Obama will win ... :P

are the tyres gone abit soft? is the power steering belt slipping?
power steering pumps are a big problem with over abused Altezza's ( too much circles) .... you'll hear it if it's the pump, do a full lock to either side ;)

a multimeter is to only way to pin point whats going on...
it could be a loose or corroded connections, a bad Battery, suffering alternator or something drawing power like the boot light staying on constantly ...
a few minutes with a meter will tell loads

Oh dear oh dear ... :duh:
Jeremy Clarkson has sparked fresh BBC controversy by joking about murdering prostitutes. Skip related content
The Top Gear presenter, 48, made the quip about lorry drivers killing s*x workers on Sunday night's BBC Two show.
As he completed a lorry-driving task, he said: "This is a hard job and I'm not just saying that to win favour with lorry drivers, it's a hard job. Change gear, change gear, change gear, check mirror, murder a prostitute, change gear, change gear, murder. That's a lot of effort in a day."
His comments come after serial killer Steve Wright was convicted in February of murdering five prostitutes in Ipswich.
Wright was a former lorry driver, as well as pub landlord and forklift truck driver.
Clarkson's joke, made before the watershed, sparked 188 complaints to the BBC, out of what the Corporation said was seven million viewers.
The Iceni Project, a charity which had helped some of the murdered prostitutes in Ipswich, criticised the remark. The group's director Brian Tobin said: "I just think it was highly distasteful and insensitive. Maybe people on the BBC should think a bit more before saying some of the things they keep coming out with.
"It is around the time of the anniversary of the girls' (Ipswich prostitutes) deaths and it's a very delicate time. I saw it on Top Gear. It made me cringe."
Broadcasting watchdog Ofcom said it had been contacted by viewers angry at the remarks. A spokesman said: "Ofcom has received complaints regarding Top Gear. These complaints are currently being assessed against the Broadcasting Code. All UK broadcasters must adhere to Ofcom's Broadcasting Code which sets standards for the content of television and radio broadcasting."
A BBC spokeswoman said: "The vast majority of Top Gear viewers have clear expectations of Jeremy Clarkson's long-established and frequently provocative on-screen persona. This particular reference was used to comically exaggerate and make ridiculous an unfair urban myth about the world of lorry driving, and was not intended to cause offence."

Whats hanging down under the front bumper of the black IS200?
-
Not sure with the IS200's but the Altezza's got a brake booster from around 2001 onwards ... unfortunately mines a 2000 :( , but i can still make the ABS work flat out if the the occasion arises ;)

After you fit HID to the dips, your never happy with halogen main beams... i tried a few uprated sets but none impressed, so i put in a 50w hid in the main beams and i'm "lov'in it" :D
as been said already don't worry about about heat up times as the dips provide plently of light already ;)

oh btw you can DIY but it's a messy job, taking off the pan and cleaning off the old gasket etc, I got my mechanic to do it as he has a lift whereas i wouldn't even consider doing it at home, proper T-IV fluid from Toyota is costly too :( ....
