i would say there is nothing wrong with the cat i am a mot tester and i smell that smell on a lot of cars and it would not pass the co2 bit if you drive up a long steep hill you should smell it on nearly all cars i way i see it if it smells its working

i had a big air gun on itit did not even try to undo you have to put a scaffold pole over the braker bar and hope it does not brake the nut or the bar

i changed a cam belt on one of these cos lexus did not have one but we made one up to undo the nut but it was very very tight i think it was two sockets and lot of sweat but you have to have some thing to lock the crank shaft up or you will not get it off

normal power steerin fluid or auto trans fluid is ok i use it on my ls400 and its red

Oh well it was worth a try! Might be worth putting one of those lens cleaner discs in but Pioneer units usually mount the laser upside down so dirt doesn't cause such a problem. I have the manual on cd rom outlining the key fob testing and diagnosis but the chances are it still wont work ( mine doesn't!) If you need a copy PM me your address details. going a good fast speed a long a road (safely and within the speed limit of course) and some pulls out in front and makes you slow right down and then only goes about 20mph and turns off when you cant go fast any more

the 850 are great cars i was going to get one before i got my 400 i think they have the best air con and they are fast and loads of room and very safe

sounds like it could be the headlight switch as i have had it before main beam works but dip does not it will work if you short it out as you are bypassing the switch mybe worth a look u can take it off and do the tests on it matt

what about taking it in to your garage or do you use a dealer as if one of my customers come in and said i am buying a car can you check it out i would say ok at a less of a charge witch i have done before my dad was looking at a crv before he got his trooper and the trooper is a lot better

the aerial does not go all the way up on fm but does on long wave so try hiting the lw button to see if goes up the last bit and my mk3 is showing a bit of use on the arm rest and the steering wheel (110k) but it just looks bad just shows its been used matt

i have 235 on 7j on my Ls u can't beat a big bit of rubber smoking away on the back on only thing is they are dear to buy

there are two sizes 1 180mm and the other about 192mm i have 180s on the car and 190 on the spare put them on ebay as they make a bit of money as i am bidding on some at the mo for about £5 and it still has 3 days left matt

i have had that you check the connecters and the fuses see thats theres nothing wrong with them start thinking what now and turn it on to move it and it all works and you have not got a clue what you did

i don't know how much more power you would get but you would have to stop them back wheels spinnin why do you want to put one on it but i know that i super charger will give you a faster kick a turbo you have to wait for then its there matt

super charge it i have driven both and i think the super charger is better power wise it puts more strain on the engine but you get more power quicker

nice car i like the wheels i had a 300 in a little while ago witha oil leaks i thnk i change the rocker box cover gaskets and found it was not that and it was the rear main oil seal so he put some stop oil leak stuff in it and has not been back buti would not put it in a turbo but it does sound like a rear main and i would just keep toping it up the same as i do on my power steering on my ls400 matt
