    Hello all, I've been reading various topics on different forums about this particular subject, however, I've been unable to find a definitive answer to my question. Which year(s) of the IS250 petrol model is affected by the carbon build up? I also read a comment by someone on a US site that the warranty on the cars which fall within the affected year range has been extended to 9 years? Thanks in advance. Edit: This should be in the Engine & Transmission sub forum. My mistake.

    This is the type of ownership experience Lexus should aim to market. Reminds me of the old VW advert where the squeaky ear ring is the culprit and not the car.
