  5. because those types of lights are now illegal for permanent residence. the switch over is only allowed for tourist times of visit, no euro car will pass the local inspections with the flick over adjustment, in Europe. if you are taking up residency, you have to swap the lights
  6. Not sure if this is 100% or not, but try getting your 1G-GTE conrods from Toyota dealer £150 for all 6 ive been told, please check 1st :winky: whats the part number Gord, as i cant find it on the EPC, not for just the rods anyway

  9. lol...... deja vu. im moving back to Wiltshire...again!!!!
  10. if you got the diff from an Altezza, (why would you need to ?) you would be fine aslong as you used the is200 shafts and outputs the only physical difference between the is200 and altezza diff units, are that the IS200 one has the cooling fins cast into the body. i did a massive topic on this a couple of years ago
  11. Mate, without the toyota manual (only available in japanese) you wont get the vvti drive gear back together. you should not dismantle the drive gear at all....you will not manage to set it back up again without a manual even the Toyota peeps hate working on the vvti drive gear on the 3sge, if they have to there is a very precise sequence and tools used to remove it without it all doing as you .......have done why did you remove it completely
  12. you cant fit altezza shafts to an is200 unless you have the altezza stub axle/output shaft from the differential, and vice versa
  13. why use new rods with old pistons.......best to get the correct ones for the application looking at the parts list, there doesnt seem to be a listing for the conrod on its own however Piston ring set 13011-88341 piston and sub assy 13101-88342-03
  14. the altezza and IS200 shafts are different the is200 bolts to a 4 bolt stub axle, whereas the altezza shaft bolts to a 6 bolt stub axle
  15. there here.... Radio removal instructions as found in the Workshop on the Forums
  16. they dont come as std, as theres no real need for them i looked into these a few years ago, for normal road use, i cant see any need for it, when i started using my car on Track, i used to see if the diff got hot, it didnt get any hotter on track, than it did on the road regards the Nissans over here, 99% of the coolers have been removed as there useless
  17. 8.5 on the front 9.5 on the rear front and rear arches rolled, on coilovers
  18. fronts will fit, the rears will need to do arch mods, i have similar spec wheels on the Monster
