  1. Hi mate Seeing as know-one else has answered you, I will!!! But my knowledge is minimal, to say the least. All I know about the Altezza is that it does have a completely different engine. So I would have thought a lot of other parts would be different too??? I'm sure the 'tezza owners will be along soon to help you out. If not, then PM AltezzaScott or MacRS200. They know what there talkin about!!! Cheers :winky: Matt
  2. No probs fella. Consider it my birthday present to you!!!! :winky: Matt
  3. There ya go mate. Just a quick one. If you've got any hi-res pics I'll do them for ya. Cheers Matt
  4. Have you got better pics of the rims??? A website maybe?? And have you got side on view of your car??? I can do it for you if ya want. :winky: Matt
  5. Exactly what I was trying to say!!!
  6. It all depends how much time and effort you want to put in to cleaning your car without going thru a carwash. I wanna put in as little of both, so it works for me!!!
  7. Don't know if they're worth the money cos of the re-fills needed. But heres mine after the first time I used it. Clicky me Just the fact that you don't have to chammy it dry is good for me!!!
  8. Well he's been and its done....................... And its............................ Good!!!!!! :D Before Repair After Repair He's even gonna come back Monday just to polish it and make sure I'm happy. Cheers Matt
  9. Depends on the year of your IS, I think mate. On my old 99V they were on all the time, but on my current one they come on with the heated rear screen.
  10. Fargo has just had a full re-trim made. I think he was selling his old interior. He'll be along soon, no doubt.
  11. Did that include repairing the scuff aswell?? I had a respray on my old IS front bumper at a reputable body shop. Done a deal for cash and that cost me £200!! Went to see a guy last night who trades under "Revive" (Franchise - anyone used them??). Asked him if he was confident he'd do a top job on my bumper and he said "yep, blues one of the easiest colours to match." He says he does Mercs all the time. He'd been doing one last night and wasn't happy with the colour he was getting, so kept at it until he was happy. He never finished til 7pm!! (mind you, I don't know what time he started it!!) Anyway, he's coming to do it tonight at 5.30. I'll take pics before and after to post up. Is there anything I should ask him to do or make sure he does regarding the repair or painting???? Cheers for the input guys. :winky: Matt
  12. Cheers for the replies guys. Would rather use a recommended one than the closest, cheapest, most convenient. Matt
  13. Got back to the car on Saturday (B&Q in Watford) and some prick had scraped the corner of my rear bumper!! :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: Has anyone used one of these Chips Away types????? I've been searching t'internet and hadn't realised how many different franchises there were for this, but its obviously all to do with how good the individual repairer is at his job. Its not a big job, just 2-3 inches of scrape, but I obviously want a top job doing. Cheers Matt
  14. I've noticed this happening in my IS SportCross, but it never happened in my old IS SE???? I gathered it must be to do with the different interior cabin shape???? Matt
