I got a monster stone chip 2 months after I bought my last IS. I had a proper bonnet respray and then had Armourfend fitted across the bonnet. I kept it for nearly 3 years and never got another chip. Well worth it. Have a look here

I've had 2 sets from this guy, 1 for my old IS and 1 for my current SportCross. No probs with them. Get some - just don't lose the little screwy thing!!!

Your paint code is on the VIN plate under the bonnet - right under the windscreen. It will say either 8M6 or 8N8 somewhere on it. Matt

I had SP9000's on my old SE and thought they were wicked - never any probs in the wet. Only probs was in snow. But we all know about IS's in the snow!!! You better get yours checked over fella.

Exactly the reason I changed my SE for a SportCross mate. You won't even know your driving an "Estate"!! I couldn't be without an IS so it had to be. Gotta say I prefer "hatch" to "Estate" !!!! Thats what I call it when describing it to peeps!!! -
This happens to me on the A1 every day. I cruise along in the left hand at 60-65, the "fast" lane gets so full of cars trying to procede quicker, but it slows down more, then the "slow" lane ends up overtaking the "fast" lane thru no fault of ours!! I would protest against breaking the law if I was nicked for this as I have remained at a constant speed.

Looks nasty Paul. What car did he have?? Looks like your getting a wing,bumper and bonnet out of it?? Has the bonnet moved?? Hope you get it back in tip-top soon mate.

I renewed the Lexus/RAC cover when the 3 years ran out - well worth it I reckon. I've called them out 3 times!!!! All when my old Renault broke down!!!!! Me n the wife covered for any car we are in - £70 - can't beat that surely.

I've been trying to sell my 99V SE with 87k for 6 weeks now. Its been on Autotrader website and now in the mag and I've had ONE CALL about it!! I'm sure there are people out there looking for IS's in our price bracket, but its just finding them!! Dealer only offered me £6k to P/X it, but I wanted more like 8-9.

LOL!!! I thought my 6 points were funny - mine was same stretch of A1 reknowned for Cash Cameras!! Thanks Bedfordshire Police for relieving me of £120!!! :tsktsk: I didn't know what to spend it on anyway!!
