supposedly all the gs's have some new minor changes -new grille shape, indicators on side mirrors, new rear bumpers. and choice of new interior leather. gs300 now comes with vdim and adaptive variable suspensions. gs430 is to be replaced with a v8 460 with 8speed auto transmission

The new C Class has a 6DVD changer, and a 4gb HDD, so that's upto 55gb of storage/MP3's/Movies (I assumed the DVD changer can play Dual Layer disks in my calculation). I don't know whether it's software or hardware (!) that won't allow MP3's to be played in the MLS via DVD's, but it is a bit of a flaw. I too wouldn't buy a Merc in the current climate. They need a whole generation of cars that are like they bused to be. They've started improving again, but it'll take a while yet before people get teh confidence back. I think that new C Class is very well made, but the whole experience needs to improve and time will tell. unfortunately the c-class 6dvd changer isnt standard. its only optional extra.

Aren't they the same design? .... dont know? thought the se-l with the dimming mirror was built different?

not sure if many ppl with the 250 se-l have problems with their rear view mirror vibrating..might be coz its more sturdier built and not just attached by a thin stem to the car?

im sure i read somewhere that the new seat pockets were made to offer more legroom at the back..how would that make a difference? does it kit77..i guess you would know :) do you know of any other changes? hidden/unhidden?

does the klasse SG make a lot of a difference on the final outcome considering the AIO is a sealant already?

Does the car still lock then when the engine's running? ive always wanted to know what happens when the engine is running and you go away with the key..does it cut out? lock?

just washed it n waxed it using the claybar, klasse AIO n P21 combo. didnt have time to do the klasse sealant, guess that will have to wait another time. with the interior doing too..conditioning leather..etc took 6 hours..glad its over :)

is there any point in after washing the car, using the carlack68 then the carlack68 sealant n then the p21? or just use the carlack68 then straight p21? also do u know if i need to wait any amount of time between these processes? lastly..should i remove the old wax first with something like a paint cleaner?? thankx
