  1. I have only removed the 2from the manifold!! Thats all i have changed on the exhaust system, apart from the back box too!!
  2. I aint got out door candles but ive got the parafin lantins if there any good? Also i hear Aldi has a special on cool boxes?!?! I'll look into gettin some more chairs and i also have the tent thing that survived 2006!! Chris
  3. Yeah its sorted mate, but just tonight when i was driving home the management light came up again but no signs of missfire, im going to have a look 2moro cos its rain bad now!! Unfortunatly i aint had it on a dyno before or even after so im not sure on what gains there are, i dont know if its cos its been missin but it feels a lil bit more pokier!! Chris
  4. I was just about to update this post and say that its sorted, you hit the nail on the head there with them swapping the banks over, the reason they did it was cos with the new manifold on the wireing wouldnt streach to the original so they switched them over, i went back in today and have extended the wireing so they now reach and hey presto, no more missing and the car runs sweet again :D Chris
  5. Oh i do like them, seeing them makes me think i should go clean mine whilst weather is sunny!!
  6. Alright everyone, Today i got round to fitting the ProLex Exhaust manifold, unfortunatly when taking the old manifold off one of the Lambada sensors stripped its threads! So i had to get a new one! Not Cheap either!! Anyway, the part was goin to be a few hours to be delivered, and i needed the car, so i connected the old one up and cable tied it to the engine bay so it wouldnt move around, also put a bung in the manifold where it was ment to go! So i drove about 5mile and the mamagement light came on, i did my business and drove back to the garage to get the sensor fitted, on the way back the car started miss fireing! I kept the revs up and managed to get back to the garage! Installed the new sensor and put the car on the computer to clear the error code. It dissapeared so i left it ticking over, when i got back in the car the light had came back on and was flashing, so i turned the car off then back on and it dissapeared. So i drove off, car was driving ok, still a slight miss, but i thought it was the brain just tryin to deal with what fuel needed to go where with the sensor back in. I drove picked up the missus frfom work and it really started to limp, so i came home and have taken the -'ve off the battery, dont know why, thought it may wipe the brain clean. Anyway what does anyone suggest? Thanks in advance for the advice! Chris
  7. Im sure it says Hi-SIlent down the side just aint got the baffler in it!
  8. Ive got the silent on mate, and its sounds nice, when your sat there is quiet but put a few rev's on and it sounds good! Sat at a 30/40mph in 5th its got a low tone! Im gonna be finding out what is sounds like 2moro when i fit the prolex manifold too!! Chris
  9. Well theres me: and kirsty: See you all there :D
  10. Nope we arrived Sat afternoon and he had already left
  11. Thats the missus, you'll be able to meet her at JAE :P
  12. Well guys my car has came back out of the body shop after my accident a few months back, i am over the moon with the repair that the guy has done on my car, he even took another lil dent out that i never even asked him to do! Also touched up some of them nasty stone chips on the bonnet! He charged me £180, but ive had so many good recomendations from other ppl i had to use him, yes he is a lil expensive but the work that he produces is great! So for my over all repair its cost me £240, and for the ****** who ripped me off £420. But the best bit of all is that i saw the lads car who i hit, and i have to say im happy to see what a mess the painter has done to it, the colour match is shocking and the way it has been painted....well lets just say a blind man could have done better!! Whats the saying....'What goes around comes around' Haha is what i'll add to that!! I'll stick some pic's up shortly when i go out! But anyway my Lex is back to good condition and ive now got a big :D on my face!!! Chris
  13. That is some machinery!! Would love to see this stuff up close!!
  14. Well i think i'll be bringing the only surviving marquee from last year, i'll also bring beer........erm.......dont think i'll need anythin else!! lol!! Nah we need a list of what ppl are going to bring otherwise we'll be on a liquid diet!! Chris
  15. When you get round to taking the whole unit out, there is 4 bolts i think that hold the unit in, also 2 little screws on the top to keep the cover on the top of the unit take them out. Then put the rest of it back together without these bolts. The unit should then be able to be slid in and out when you remove the traction control buttons and heated seat pannel. You can only see a slight gap between the top of the cd unit and the climate control unit but nothing major! The cd unit wont come out when u drive around cos of the weight and the angle its on! Chris
  16. Im sure ive already posted this before bout just leaving the bolts that hold it in, then when you do get a cd stuck you just pull it out, then remove the cd, once its out slide the unit back in and reload your cd's saves loads of time in dismantlin it every time!! Chris
  17. Looks like there will be a few females on our stand this year then!!?? Im Chris 23 and my other half Kirsty 19 will be there again this year!!
  18. Well ive got the new gaskets from Chris and they arrived this morning, the only problem is that the guys who i have got to do most of the work on my car are saying that they may not change the manifolds cos of the damage that could be caused with taking the old one off?! Sure there isnt that much to taking them off? I know that the bolts may shear but what else? If i dont get it fitted before JAE, would anyone like to offer some help? I mean there will be a few beers going spare for payment :D the only reason i dont do it cos ive got nothing to lift the car up on to get under :duh: i know poor excuse but........ Cheers Chris
  19. Well as im not gonna be gettin a s/c now with them all being gone i thought i could spend it :shutit: lol
  20. Well guys i bit the bullet and booked my car in for the cam belt change for today, total cost of £329! I was ment to be having a service with it but as i crashed my car the £606 was a bit too much, and the car aint done enough miles to have one . So anyway i got the IS250 for a courtesty car with the automatic gearbox! What can i say about it.....i liked it, but wasn't 100% keen on the automatic, if i got the manual i think i may have enjoyed it a bit better! But for a first time driver of one i was impressed, didnt think i would have liked it but i did! Unfortunatly i dont have the money to buy one, and i dont think im at the right age to have one lol Anyway....i havent looked under the plastic covers to see if they have changed the belt, im sure they will have. I cant hear the loud ticking noise that i could before so they must have done something. Im happy but a bit lighter haha Chris
