  8. Hey guys, Ok my cluch aint slipping from what i know but i do have a sound coming from my engine bay, like a whining sound! Also when the car first starts up i get a jerking sensation when i put my foot down and take it off. Ok i know the cars cold but once it warms up it still does the same. Ive had my head under the bonnet and had a bit play with the throttle wire and it sounds as though its choking when i take the revs off. :duh: I know this reads very strange but its starting to do my head in and i need to rectifiy it!! :tsktsk: Cheers Chris
  9. Hey guys, Just wondering where bouts can you get the HKS Silent Hight Power exhaust from? Is there really that much difference between that and the Kazama Pro-Lex pipe? Also whats the price difference between them? Chris
  10. Alright there, The spats took 20mins i think at the max!! Just a matter of takin some plastic clips from the bottom of the bumper bar. The spats come with the fitting kit which included the fitting bolts and sealing strips! Oh yeah and of coarse the distructions. Chris
  11. Reached the dizzy heights of 22, had my lexus since 19!! Only just managin to get my bank balance to buy bits and bobs :D
  12. I hope your joking ...... I'm not taking the Club banner .... and promoting LOC, then watching idiots do pathetic wheel donuts ........ Alright there. New to the game and just wondering where bout the meet-ups are usually held? Im from up North, Sunderland way and just wondering if theres any close ones? Chris

  14. Alright there mate, Ive got the Front corner spats fitted to my car, they cost me £140 last year when i bought them. I do know now that a Lexus Dealer (RMB Teeside) Have got a deal on with the spats for £55....i think!! ebay@rmb-teesside.toyota.co.uk Chris
  15. Alright there everyone, Ok ive just got the price of the Tein Flex dampers, £998.75 I supose the price you have to pay for your car to look the bizz. Im thinkin bout fitting the Kit myself, has anyone else done this and if so how much of a ba :tsktsk: rd is it? I replaced my front coilovers on my Mk2Golf some time ago and i didnt have any problems with that! If not should i pay for the company to fit them, does anyone know of decent companies up here in the North East? My other question was, is there anythin else i should buy to do with the suspension/handling like anti roll bars or undercar chasis support? I will hopefully be supercharging the car in the future sometime, so i dont know if extra support is needed! Cheers very much Chris
  16. Hey there, After reading these last posts ive decided to buy the Tein Flex kit. Im not too sure on buyin the electric control just yet as i may not use it! I was however readin on the Tein website that there is need for modification to be made to fit the kit.......what are these modifications? Also theres a lot of people sayin about gettin the geometry set up correctly after having it fitted. As im still waitin for my wheels to arrive.....8weeks or so is it visable to have the geomerty set up after ive had them fitted too? Or can i have it all set up then the wheels put on when they get here? Cheers Chris
  17. Cheers for the comliments from everyone so far! Since ive bought the car ive had new disc's and pads all around, also a new caliper on the offside rear, all supplied and fitted by Lexus Newcastle . Expensive!!! Yeah ive had the car jacked up, spun the wheel and it still makes the niose. Ive had the pads out and theres no grit or anything behind there. Theres also plenty of meat on the pads and no lip build up on the discs .......oh yeah, Lexus themselves said that all the IS200's have got this noise to them, ive had 3 courtesy cars from them and none of them had the noise!! Cheers
  18. Well hello LOC members, I have been using LOC Knowledge now for a few months after i found it through Pro-Lex! Its helped me already get rid of the knocking and vibrations from the front end by changing the Lower Ball Joints and the Tracking Arm end piece. :) :D Just a quick question tho.....has anybody had problems with there breaks? My car stands for a long time without being driven, I have been leaving my hand break off and out of gear, but i seem to have a constant rubbing noise coming from the front breaks. I also get alot of break squeal even though ive had the pads off, cleaned, re-copperslipped and shamphered Well i think thats enough for my first post......a few pic's of my car now, and please ignore the wheels, ive got a set of 18s on there way but there gonna take up to 8weeks to get into the country!! Cheers for letting me inChris
