If you think there is a cd stuck in it, do a search on LOC and look for how to remove your cd player, then take a few screws out of the top to remove the cover and remove the cd yourself!! That way its free!! Chris
  2. Ok guys, when i first got home....4weeks ago i bought a game from an ebayer, i paid as i always do straight away via pay pal. I have now sent a few emails to the person asking where the game is. I got a reply of i forgot to go to the post office and send it....ok....but after 4weeks this person has either got a very short memory span or is just doing it to p me off!! Has any one else had this, and if so how do i go about reclaiming my money? I know it was only 7quid, but im in a foul mood anyway and just want either money or game!! I still have not posted feedback for them, but i have just sent a demanding email off to them!! Cheers Chris

  13. Alright mate, Well ive had 2 Golfs, the Mk2 and the Mk3, the Mk3 was pretty standard, the only problems i had was....the Master break cylinder went, was quite fun to slow down when i found out that it had went lol. Just after i sold it the alternator blew up :shutit: oh yeah the starter motor failed on it. I think that was about it for the Mk3!!! As for the Mk2, i dont think this one really counts as it had so much done to it, but anyway, the main problem for these were the Heater Matrix leaking into the Footwells, the other problems i had with this was due to the moddin it had done to it :winky: But being VW mate, i would recomend them, i was a fully fledged VW man before i went Jap. Ive been lookin into buyin another Mk2 golf.....but i wouldnt be gettin rid o the Lex!!! Chris

And for this i paid 80quid!! Nope i aint fitted it just yet, aint ad the time today, been busy with estate agents :o

  21. Alright guys, Ok it started not that long ago, i can hear a rattle coming from the engine bay, ive opened up the bonnet (good start) and have sorced it to what i think is the throttle linkage, when i open the throttle then close it quickly it seems to either rattle or get stuck well not quite stuck just very jerky, as if when its closing the last part it sticks.....anyway it aint right!! I can also feel it in the car too when its cold, if i accelerate then take my foot off the peddle the car jerks and just dont feel right. What i need to know is.....does this sound like something that can be free'd up if taken apart or does it sound like an expensive trip to the garage? Cheers for your help Chris
