Thank you for your advice for enlightening me.

i anit looking to spend more then about £3500. so how much do you think all this would cost?

supercharger costs 3800!

upgraded clutch/flywheel 450 approx

fitting about 500

tuning mapping 300-500.

Im sure there is other costs along the way i cant think of

the rs200 auto has 190 bhp and the rs200 manual has 200 bhp without the high octane Japaneses petrol which give it an extra 10 bhp.

Factory figures quote the altezza at 210bhp from the factory for MT, 200bhp for AT. Who told you you only get 255bhp of of a Blitz supercharged Altezza? Mr Singh had his up to 310bhp on standard internals.

Supercharger on its own should see you up to 280bhp easily, then add larger intercooler, uprated fuel pump, larger injectors, stand alone ecu. Since yours is an auto ,there isn't as many tuning parts available. Brash boy in Japan do an Apexi Power FC for the autos

Hope you manage to find the part/s you're after, there must be a dead Altezza somewhere if Aaron's suggestion doesn't work out.

MINE!! as soon as i find out where my car goes, ill ask them how much they want for the throttle body. if its not too heavy shipping to you shouldnt be too bad.

Drove my car for the last time today (from the storage yard to workshop). It was painful.... something like the driveshaft had gone into the gearbox, every inch the car moved i got a crunching feeling coming through the chassis and steering, car is officially fooked! Engine still good!

Well i have a problem with the throttle, that when change gear the revs stick at about 3500 RPM. I have cleaned it out and while cleaning it noticed that when i turn the valve to open the throttle the spring on the inner section starts rattling around. I dont know what else it could be.

Maybe leave it in to a garage to get a full diagnosis of the problem, Is the throttle body on the IS200 same as on the Altezza?

So need to take my coilovers off and throw the standard shocks back on. Is there much to this? Is it as simple as putting the car up on ramps take off the wheel, undo the 3 nuts holding the coilover on at top, then the coilover should just drop down? How are they secured on at the bottom? I have access to ramp so that should make things easier

i got an account on nengun but, the apexi power intake is an universal one so it says it fits my car, but it dosent specify de diameter.

did you create an account and and add a vehicle(i.e your Altezza)? this should tell you which parts is compatible with your car, when there is multiple fitments available. as Noel said :

Wozza has first dibs on the nav housing. Still early days so waiting to hear from the insurance, dont think ill be getting another altezza, was thinking of a Legacy B4 before this happened

any witnesses? did the van driver stop after causing it? how fast were you going?

wasn't speeding was doing less the 60km/h just after coming off a roundabout. No witnesses, guy never stopped. Should find out in an hour or 2 how bad things are with the car

Cheers for the comments lads, i think it would be better if it was a write off. i i got it repaired and back on the road it would be very hard to sell it on. i need to get another car soon as im currently driving my gf's old Megane 1.4 french power!! Will let you guys know if its a write off as i will probably buy it back from the insurance crowd if i can get it at a good price

Happened on the way to work this morning. Van pulled out on front of me. had to swerve to avoid taking him out, slid sideways into a fence. Not a happy man. Bit of a sore shoulder and neck but doctor said its just muscle pain. It might be a write off, its in getting assessed at the moment. lots of parts for sale soon maybe, including engine as thats untouched!!!

I was thinking off getting the hks, but the apexi is cheaper than the hks, but i dont know if come with the airflow sensor adaptor, who can tell me if it come with the adaptor?

the Apexi kit comes with everything you need including the hard pipe section where the MAF sensor sits

nice little pocket rocket mate, any grille will fit that bumper but as Noel said maybe you should look for a car that has that kit on it already as its very expensive to buy seperately

Bobby's (I think) 280T is unbelievably low there! Must say the Phase 2 Legana bumper is growing on me too ;)

Also, is that an IS with a GS headlight conversion, or is it a mask?

Ye Bobbys is sitting very low!

The white Altezza just had GS style light covers on it. not my cup of tea. I have more footage if the actual drift session we had on the same day too.(And yes it is 100% legal, on private farm grounds!) Just editing the footage now

Do you have any problems with heat at the HID's with that ballast next to the intake?

and what pads did you use? ones that came with the unit or did you buy some?

How long have they been fitted? I assume you haven't had to check to see if they haven't escaped :)

No problems with heat what so ever. The HIDS are only 35W so the dont burn as hot as normal bulbs. They came with mounting brackets and sticky pads. They were fitted by previous owner so they have been on the car for ages with no problems
