  1. Thanks for the reply guys.

@ IRLRs200- I will have a look around. Do you Know of any places in Dublin or near enough. Cheers

@MonsterMat- I am in Ireland so its probably easiest getting them here. If all else fails I will confirm parts needed and see what you can do. Much appreciated.

cant remember off the top of my head but check the Autotrader as there is a couple advertised in that , in the breakers section. ill ask around for you try get a definite place :winky:

  2. Today I completely lost the back end. It came out of nowhere as i exited a round about into a bend resulting in me :tsktsk: smashing into a kerb almost sideways then bouncing the front of a guard rail. The rear wheel took the most damage as it hit a milisecond before the front. It wasnt even drivable. Basically the rear wheel was after twisting in at the back and sticking way out at the font. I nearly cried :crybaby: when i got out to look.

Anyway turns out to be the lower wishbone ( think thats what its called) and some other link busted. I also need a new back wheel as its badly marked but suprisingly not buckeled. Are the suspension parts the same as the IS200 and are they only available from Toyota or can i get spurious parts from a motor factor. Any help would be great.

    Thanks,

    Darren.

parts are the same you should be able to get them all from Toyota, there is a few altezzas for breaking around Ireland that might save you a few quid

  3. Dont slag my quality editing skills! Wish i had a turbo

Thats a very nice looking motor and rare too....have you seen this tuned altezza?

Ye i was there at the dyno :winky: Only one i know of in Ireland/UK if not Europe. Overtaking in 6th gear in this thing is effortless!

  4. no i just got the bhp at the wheels,

    not the best of pictures,

    009442078.jpg

think there is a few factors that can affect hoe the fly figure is calculated and i think if its not done there and then by the dyno operator i think any thing else would be guess work! 163 @ wheels sound good to me, more than mine got the first time it was dyno'ed, might be getting mine dyno;ed again before the end of the week so ill ask the guy how its calculated @ fly

  5. ill be grand so! im traveling to /Germany in FEB, run my car on E85(Ethanol) so ill be fine!! few Jerry cans in the boot. "Ich verstehe sie nicht!"

Hi you run your car on E85(Ethanol)? That's really interesting, because up to know I thought it's not possible. The reason is that a few month ago I found a lexus statement, that the engines are note suiteable for E85(Ethanol). What kind of system you are using?

Maybe we should start a thread for alternative gas like E85(Ethanol), LPG, CNG and so on. I'm running my IS300 since 2 years on LPG (Autogas). It's cheap and is working perfect....

    Best Regards

    Sonnet

:offtopic: Been using it in my car for the last 6 months or so, using this system. Either start a new thread or PM me for more info

  6. Welcome to the club matey enjoy? :D this is the chap a few of the guys have used in the past click me might be worth giving him a shout?? :)

this guy can do it but i think its quite expensive, 400/500GBP i think. I just use a TOM on mine and am converting the motorised screen soon to play off my dvd player

  7. try this site: Japanparts

It isn't cheap though, about 500-600 Euro plus delivery and customs if not more,

Wow that's dear enough... Is that the best you'll get them from

ur probably best off trying to get one second hand. or a diiferent bumper maybe, plently of other, more unique bumpers out there

    dfbdb415d7.jpg

I´ve got the fascia adapter but.... I need the ISO connector. Where can I get one??

    Thanks for your help.

    Maax H. from Madrid. Spain.

If u have external amp in ur audio system:

Click here to get one of these adapters.

  9. Is the autoleads cheapo £12-15 adapter worth using or is it better to put more money in and get a genuine one?

Had on autoleads one and the only way i think it looks good in the dash is if you respray it following DJ Wozza's guide. have the Toyota one now, much better!
