  1. Are you importing it yourself? Not sure if all Toyota Dealers will service it but Carroll and Kinsella Lexus in DeansGrange in Dublin will do it for you. It would be worth ringing around a few dealers near you and see will they service it. Looks good in black i only have mine a month and love it. And yes faster than a type R, but once the limiter kicks in at 120! That can easily be removed with an Apexi RSM. Do you know if its the Z edition and check whether is has LSD, that can help in the wet!
  2. Hey Dibs, its a loom that one end plugs into the factory connector and the other end plugs into the stock HU, so what you would do is chop off one end and wire your new HU into it, its not a ISO which allows direct wire to wire. BUT it is a connector that allows you to hack up without touching your stock wires. Waiting for delivery from Fargo, should get it next week. Ill let you know how i get on.PM i think he said he has a load of them made up. 40 quid. Ill try take loads of pics and stick up a Guide when im done. Here's what i plan on hooking up: Pioneer DEH P55BT Lexus Facia Plate Toyota ISO connector Fargo magic extension cable! In Phase IPA900 1200w 2 channel amp Db Audio 12" Raptor In Phase 2 Farad capacitor In Phase XT63 in the front Pioneer TSA 6911 in the back
  3. no m8 mine dont have amp its 1 without but i dont think that should matter the sound wire from tv tuner should be same the only differnce in my opinion is my tv tuner has a converter betwee wiring but some one has converted yours coz on the second wirin block which is different mine only has 4 wires before converter Ok so how does your dvd player get its power? Are the cables from the dvd player RCA output? So i should get an RCA lead going from the dvd player, chop off the plugs at one end and wire them into the block that i disconnected the tv tuner from, they way you described above.
  4. Stupid question, but when are these lights supposed to come on? Mine dont work at all whether the door is open or closed, engine is on or off!
  5. For the models with the external amp(sports and altezza rs200 z edition) Fargo can make you up an extension loom that connects onto your existing factory head unit connectors, which allows you then to cut the wires together with a standard Toyota ISO that you have connected into your aftermarket HU. It saves you having to bypass the amp or cutting up your stock connections. Waiting on it to arrive and ill try post up a howto, if i get it installed successfully!!
  6. Hi guys does anyone know what bulb the standard front fog lights on a Rs200 take? From looking on ebay i think its H3 but not 100% sure. Can someone verify this for me please

This site seems to be fairly competitively priced: Eiretyres
  8. Hey guys i use Turtle wax wheel cleaner on my alloys whenever they are heavily soiled , but there is some dirt that is actually baked into the alloy and its not coming off. Its been there since ive had the car(1 month). Is there anything stronger i could use to help shift this, its only on one or 2 spokes on the 2 front alloys
  9. Cool i have another look at my wiring and try to figure that out. Are your speakers amplified with an external amp, located behind the glove box? Not all models have them. This could explain the difference between wiring schemes.
  10. Hows things, thats a sweet looking RS200 you have, looks like the suspension is sorted already, Exhaust seems like its more for looks than performance so you could get more out of it with a different layout. Having it that low on Irish roads isnt good, maybe try stiffen the suspension, anti roll bars. My Rs is fairly heavy on juice so more mods means even less mpg. I wouldnt fancy carrying any more than 4 people with it that low, mine is lowered 15mm and gets a lot of knocks going over ramps! It might be worth while getting it tuned in England they seem to have a better selection of places. Where abouts are you based? from the looks of it, country somwhere if not we should meet up in Dublin
  11. Ebay... For all your Lexus needs! ebay link
  12. No you cant get to the screws to take out the speakers by just popping the covers off. because they are under the parcel shelf. You wouldnt be able to get the new ones in either. Its fairly handy to get to them, just follow the guides found in the workshop section. You should of bought some aftermarket speakers since your replacing the standards, wouldnt have cost too much extra.
  13. Its actually a pain in the *****. You cant run the amp and sub off the headunit as far as i know, theres no inputs for it, You can buy an aftermarket headunit, chop into the factory wiring(or get a extension loom off Fargo) then run your rca cable from you rca out on the new HU to your own amp in the boot
  14. Cool let me know how it works out for you. Hope it works for ya :D
  15. ok so found the tv tuner, heres a pic of the tuner wired in: Heres the cables: So can you explain how i get a dvd player hooked up to the existing wiring?
  16. Bought it from a tuning shop in Dublin, 170 euro for induction kit and 170 for aluminium box. you can get it online from here
  17. mine is the same. I was looking at this one on ebay too, seems to have similar connections to my one, i might go ahead and get it and hope for the best! its not too pricey. Only one way to find out for sure!!
  18. I cant find minein the boot. Now before i go pulling off the lining carpet on my boot, it should be on the passengers side of the boot behind the boot lining? My sat nav unit is located on the right, its not built into this??
  19. Are you using th GPS screen to watch the dvds? The factory one that pops up from the dash? So if i leave in the standard HU, how do i hook up a dvd player to it? yes im using gps screen u will need : 1)a dvd player that supports ntsc format ( i have http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Centurion-In-Car-DVD...1QQcmdZViewItem ) it plays any thing 2)3x phono connectors 3)cable (i just used 2core speaker cable as i was jus tryin) does ur tv screen work while moving(mine did ) if not theres a problem Ah yep it works fine, the Gps works while i drive but in Japanese, when i press the TV button on the headunit the screen pops up, no reception though!
  20. Are you using th GPS screen to watch the dvds? The factory one that pops up from the dash? So if i leave in the standard HU, how do i hook up a dvd player to it?
  21. Hi Taz, Is it easy to bypass the tuner and use a dvd player? I plan on removing the standard hu with an after market, so i would have a spare slot to stick a dvd player into.
  22. So if i take the speaker connections out of the amp altogether and stick them into the headunit connections? im clueless about this and no one in ireland will rewire anything for me cause its an import
  23. Hey guys im sure this question has been asked before but used the search function couldn't find accurate results. Basically i need the Iso connector block to connect an after market headunit to the factory connections. Mine is the amplified factory system so i can just use the standard toyota ISO wiring loom, it doesnt fit. Does anyone know where i can get one online? I tried about 10 different audio and motor factors in Dublin, none of them had a clue. The PC2-17-4m one doesnt fit. Sorry for asking a question thats probably been covered ten times over, I just need to get the music flowing in thge car again asap! :D
