thats the idea, i been puleld 100 times and always got away with it just by being polite and that... again as far as i can see on the dvla website, theres nothing to stop you having the lexus symbol on your plate, i may have missed somethign but i read through the license plate regs a few times to make sure, but no where does it saying its illegal to have anything other than euro and gb thing on your plate..

your best to do it sooner, dont leave it as it will get worse, and not sure what would happen if it actually seized at 70mpH!!!

just been told to get NGK sparks? what about them?

as above whats the best to use? i know theres things liek the bocsh 4 sparks? but does it make a bnig difference? cheers

damn i was a bit slow with taht 1

nope, but its pretty simple to fix. yea my car was juddereing so severaly i thought the wheel was gonan full off, and my left brake was glowing red.. Solution: I took the caliper off, and 1 of the pistons was stuck fast, so i used 2 g clamps, 1 to compress to ok cylinder and then 1 to compress the seized 1... basically to free it up, then i opened the g clamp up kept it in position and got my dad to applpy the brakes to bring the cylinder out (not all of the way out) i pulled back the rubber seal and cleaned out the rust and filled it with copper greese, then repeatedily compressed that cylinder with g clamp and then applied the brakes over n over till it was easy to press in with the g clamp... i haven't had a problem since... oh and to apply the brakes you'll need the engine running, just make sure the car is jacked up securely.

yea i was getting that, jack front of the car up and see if the wheels spin freely, or after a run check tempreture of the wheels,if 1 is noticelbly hotter than the other then that caliper is seized up

ive just been on the dvla website, it doesn't say anything about being illegal to have the lexus symbol on there, or anything else on the border of the plate, as long as the letter and spacing are the standard and the manufacturer of the plate is at the bottom ie:fancyplates.com then they should be totally legal...

Ive had my car lowered on just springs, and now im looking at adjustable coilovers, so when i get my 18's (nextweek) i can set the ride height perfect for them.. has anyone got any recommendations on make, and where to get them? cheers

well i dont know when the spraks where replaced last, and there not expensive...

i think im gonan get them plates made up same as in the picture ^^^ as i dont care, it is petty if they pull me over as teh font and letters are brittish standard, its not like im trying to get around speed camaras or anythgin with dodgy letters, but i just like the lexus badge on there. yea i didn't have any trouble with them plates before, and essex police aint to happy with number plates, also my fornt number plate i think was about 3/4 the size and the letters still being the brittish standard size that they should be, just teh overall plate was smaller, and police never stopped me for that either...

hmmm thats no fair, i'll just get a normal 1 in that case, there cracking down hard on dodgy plates in my area...

thats what i had last year and the front 1 was alot smaller, never got pulled up with them... not sure why they would be illegal

i ordered a set of Blitz Techno Speed Z1's last year in september.... and there finally comeing next week!!!! still wont be putting them on the car till next month, dont wanna take the chance dinging them in this weather!!! Not sure weather to leave them silver, or spray them up like the 1's on my old is200 (Purchased from Aido) anyway heres some pics, The Blitz Techno Speed Z1's My Lexus as it is now This is Aido's old lexus (was unfortunetly written off last year) So what are your thoughts on these rims?

Hi, im sure theres another post somewhere on here saying all this but i'll ask again... gonna be doing service this week on my is200, oil, filter, sparks, etc, just wondering what the best type of oil and sparks to use and best airfilter? oh and how much oil does it take? cheers

mine will only do a 135??? and wouldn't you need to change teh gearbox ratios to get this up as its almost on the limiter at 135??

i'll have a look tonight if i can, its in mint condition, n how much do they go for as i haven't got a clue

is it possible to modify the engine, loose some of the horse power and bring the co2 down?
