Think we do need to have a slightly more northern venue, but for people like Steve who live on south-coast, it will be one hell of a drive!!! IFRAZ suggest leicester.......???

To answer the fundamental question....when's the next meet......well, dont think it's been decided yet!!! We suggested 3 months, and people requested a more "northern" meet. Pain in the backside for me (I live in Kent !) but in fairness to the northerners, they did travel an awful long way, so it's only fair. To all the northerners...............do you know of any decent karting tracks !? Does silverstone have any - or maybe Donnington? They might be northern enough. I dont know, only suggestions. We'll consider dates soon I guess, so people can put in their diary :zee:

(Check out my member status :) :) :)) Yup.....I've got some big old bruises too !! The guy who came second from TOC (can't remember his name) clouted me BIG STYLEE in one of the earlier races, and WOW that hurt!!! Some aching muscles and some strange coloured marks in the weirdest of places ! Though I did get him back at the hairpin (subtle:)) Some great memories, and it was only the first one! Particular the scream.....thud....marshalls duck for cover. In fairness though, for those who's first time it was karting I think they did bloody well, especially considering it was very violent (Matt, Sarah et al) Well done to everyone. Oh and well done to Ian for the ENTIRE lap spent side-by-side..............in the warm up :) :) Anyone got a video of the final posted yet ?

And here I am one and all :D :D :D Went playing in Oxford last night, and so have only just got home. What a top day out yesterday! Had a great time - met loads of people for the first time too. Of course, I came away with 1st place too so I was well chuffed with myself! Remember the moment in the final when I overtook the TOC guy to get into 1st at the hairpin at the end of the straight? Stuart (my buddy who came along) got it all on stills.....so they will be posted tomorrow!!! Thanks all for making it such a top day. Steve..........on the left of my name it says "Advanced Member" (or something like that). Can you change it to "Go-Karting Champion" !?!?!?!?!?!? :D :D
