Helloooooo An LS or 7-series are in a different class of car (and different price bracket!) to the GS, so you would expect them to be slightly better at keeping out noise. Did you test drive a GS before you bought? If so......did you not notice this at the time of test driving? If not, and it is noticeably that bad, maybe you have a problem?

First of all, let me welcome you to the club!! Helloooooooo !! Have you tried keeping the "previous track" button pressed down. That sometimes is the method in some CD players. (PS: I own an IS200 so dont know, just taking a guess at my experience with car cd players) Oh, I dont mean to ask a silly question, but have you checked the owners manual ?

I work in a mile square of pure office buildings. One of the buildings round the corner is a Natwest call centre, and every day at 4pm the 8-4shift walks round the corner to the car park. There are some absolute STUNNERS. And it's summer, so they're near-enough naked !! :P :)

Evenin' all, As you may have read in the other thread, the Lexus Owners Club go-karting team (TM :)) is after some more drivers to join in the fun when we (LOC) take on the Toyota Owners Club on Sat 5th July in Oxford. The day is all about fun, so you don't need to be any good at go-karting, nor do you need any experience....you just need to have a Lexus! It's a tad embarassing for us as to start with we had MANY people put their names forward, unfortunately many have had to pull out and so now it is TOC (who in the first place had few drivers) who have filled their quota. We would welcome anyone to come and join the fun. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to PM or e-mail me. The original thread is here, which holds more details. Yup, I intend to, but am just waiting for Zee and SimonSkippy's replies. What I dont want to do is start reeling people in for us to only need one driver. Will do it as soon as Zee and Si are able to let me know. Have no fear one and all.......whether 11 people, 9 people, or 12 people, it will still be a damn good day which I'm really looking forward to !

post on page 1 edited "severely" !!! We need more people guys. From the interest that was shown it really seems to have dwindled. If SimonSkippy and Zee both confirm then we only have 11. I'm really glad this thread's just popped up again....I did enjoy the discussion above ! I think your last point there really is one that should be remembered. Very valid, and really does put into perspective the comparison. Although I still think you get an awful lot of car in an E-class (new) and do love them so I think for the prestige aswell you pay extra. Your point about dealer issues.......although nowhere near as bad, from my experience with Lexus dealers, it seems they are going the same way as BMW/Merc. As much good as I hear about all the dealers, I've yet to find a good one, and I've used 3. Just a point to keep in the back of your mind, especially as Lexus GB continues to grow and grow.
