  1. Is it really only when you turn? And do you have to be going up hill?
  2. LOL. Good stuff. Is it a 33R / 12W one for the side lights?
  3. ***** me - 8 quid for 2 resistors that are less than a pound each? Saw you coming
  4. you will have to unclip the trim going up the sides of the back window as well.
  5. LOL At least you don't have to worry now. But you know what's really annoying? Now you have the spare, you'll never need it :tsktsk:
  6. Info here mate: http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/knowledge...p;id=38&c=5
  7. Looks like good fun. But one thing about the convoy - turn your fcuking fog lights off! Look like a bunch of poxy Saxo's!!!
  8. I've got Mintex pads on my Escort Cosworth - they squeak (only quietly) and on asking around it's quite normal apparantly. Not sure about the Lex though... How much of a noise is it? Mine is the kind of noise you would get from a wheel bearing that is only just beginning to go.
  9. There is every chance you will have to replace the flywheel as well :-(
  10. This "I get x miles on a full tank" or "on 20 quid" drives me nuts.... For your only 250miles on a tank did you drive until it stopped? No, I bet you didn't Here's how to work it out properly: Fill the tank until the pump clicks off and no more petrol will fit. Reset the clock Drive for as long as you can. Fill up again until no more will go in. Record miles from your clock, and the number of litres put in. Miles divide by litres, then multiply by 4.54 gives miles/gallon. This is the ONLY way to compare!!
  11. Yea, not quite clear from the pic, but looks more like from above than someone at ground level
  12. There is another procedure posted on here - it uses the accelerator more than the lock/unlock business. Ferked if I can find it though :( I'll keep looking. Found something - it's written different from the one I used, but from memory I think it's the same. PM me if it doesn't work, I'm sure I've got the link at home. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...c=26439&hl= HTH :)
  13. Looks good, but as above, I'm sure you'll get it cheaper. I recently bought this: Not a sport, but 75k miles £4000 It's had a bit of paint from minor knocks - seems OK otherwise :) Edit: It had the crappy six spoke wheels on too. Anyone want them LOL.
  14. Looking good :) Where is the bootlid spoiler from? My car has the same one fitted...
  15. Hi mate, There is a guy in the US selling these, 9 dollars (about a fiver) but he won't ship to the UK :( I'll take one though please. I'll mail you now...
  16. Hi, I've used www.blackcircles.com and they have been good. They arrange fitting at a local garage for you, so it's really easy. I also fitted 4 budget tyres to my IS200. Even in this crappy weather, they have been fine. The 17's are coming out at 56 quid each fully fitted. Bargain.
  17. You will be amazed at how much stuff can be changed on newer cars. I'm not sure about this case, but this is just the kind of option that could be in there :)
  18. Hi, Any news on this guys? I'm in the same boat with just one master key... What's the procedure for programming a key? EDIT: Just found the procedure here... http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...reprogram+alarm
  19. I drive past there quite often, mines blue, but not chrome alloys. I haven't seen that one though, sounds cool.
  20. pejay, it's the early standard IS200 17" alloys. Any chance of a Buy it now price? PM me if you like :)
  21. Hi guys, New to the forum and already I have a question LOL How much will a set of centre caps for the IS200 17's cost me if I go to a dealer? I bought the car on the weekend and it came with the 16's and I wanted the 17's (anybody want the old ones? ;-) ) Anyway, I got a set off ebay, and then find out they've got no caps Cheers, Steve.
