Your tank requirements will make it very expensive. Typical conversion involves taking your spare wheel out and putting a tank there, and a can of tyre repair foam to get you back home.

I've previously made enquiries at http://www.greenfuel.org.uk/, they have done a conversion on IS before with the method mentioned above, quoted me about £2K.

Can always do a LPG conversion on your IS....

Did thsee regulations only come into effect two or three years ago? So technically plates made before this is not affected, and with a private plate might one be able to claim that the plate was made before the BS standard was introduced?

Your best bet without going through HID is the following.

Buy a set of 9006/HB4 to 9005/HB3 harness from http://www.innovativewiring.com/, USD$30 shipped to UK.

Get some Halfords Super Brillance HB3 (50% brighter) from Halfrauds, or other 50% brighter bulbs, £20ish a pair.

Follow instructions in this article to modify the bulbs, 5 mins job max.

Whatever you do if you want brighter and NOT just blue-er lights, don't get blue tint bulbs, they just make the light output dimmer.

Why 9005/HB3? It's 10W brighter and no tipped cap at the front.

Are TTE ARBs still readily available from Lexus dealers? I was under the impression that they have been discontinued, or did I mix up TTE with TRD? If so how much are TTE ARBs?

It's been a good meet, with around 70 cars attending, including an orange Lotus Espirit, not to mention 5 IS200s (3 black, 1 silver and 1 blue). Haven't taken any pics myself but Cole's friend took several, so hopefully he will upload them in due course.

I currently have Goodyear F1 GSD3 on my car, but one of them suffers from a slow punture which is too close to the sidewall to be repairable. Is it safe to replace just the one tyre? Will it affect the handling?

I usually will replace a pair on the same axle, but I'm hoping to swap to Eagle F1 Asymmetric, and my understanding is you can't mix directional tyres (GSD3) with non-directional ones (Asymmetric, or at least I think it is non-directional)?
