  1. Firstly this isn't my car, pics are for illustration only, but I would like opinions as I don't see many front spats on cars: Front Spats (option of blacking out lower middle of the bumper) or TRD Front Lip that loads already have??
  2. i've noticed links appearing in people's posts, i'm assuming that the software that is editing our posts is not accessing our details...?

    Hey

:D I have a TRD front lip but I don't know whether to fit it yet as I have front corner spats too as an option, and no one seems to have them and I like to be different...
  4. my Toyota dealer didn't even know that Lexus IS300 came in saloon form in the UK, and also failed to find what is rubbing near the wheel when I turn left, saying it must have been the old pads cos its gone now, but it hasn't lol, so i'll b paying them a visit and they can check it again, buggers
  5. they payin u too much lol, nice car and nice wheels! Welcome
  6. its sorted now cheers, TRD rear lip on its way now :)
  7. yeh i am doin, Bonnet, front lip touched up, sides and rear, and also a pair of front corner spats as i'm gonna fit those first to see if I like them over the TRD front lip, I won't say what its costing but I think its reasonable, i've seen the work they do and the cars that were there today included 2 new range rovers, and I wouldn't take an expensive car to a pile of idiots, so I think i've got a reasonable deal sorted at the moment my bonnet catch is about 1cm further back than it should be so I need it pulling forward before it goes in for paint
  8. o I agree also, when I went to Lexus for my 60k in the IS200 they told me labour was £90 an hour, so I just paid for all the parts, and took it to BMW at £35 an hour
  9. another update, got a black bonnet now and fitted it today, so it shuts properly, however since the bump i've obtained the rest of the TRD Kit so its all getting painted up in 2 weeks :D
  10. Car's booked in for spraying new bonnet and full TRD Kit :D :D

    Hey

Hello and Welcome I have a brother called Danny and quite frequently call him Danielle
  12. u don't seem to have much luck with it at the moment do u
  13. sounds like he has someone lined up, that way if it doesn't sell he still has his ad so he can put the price back to what it was
  14. yeh i've had a decent price from them, I don't know how well they check the item size as i've been a little (not ott) economic with the measurements to get it as small in volume as possible
  15. if you lock the car with the fob and then open the door manually with the key it does set the alarm off, thats normal, I have had 4 keys off ebay, 2 for my last car and 2 for this car, cut and programmed, £25 each pair, never had any issues with breaking, it could be that u may be too heavy handed, get a better hold of the key in future see if that helps
  16. Hey Guys Can anyone recommend a decent courier for fairly large but not heavy items, for example a bumper, i've done a couple of searches and prices range from £30 to £102!!! as long as its within UK it shouldn't matter about the distance should it? i'm sure i've had a bumper sent to me a while ago where the sender has only charged around £20 but I can't for the life of me find a courier at a good price any help is gratefully received Cheers
  17. moved them just below where they were originally, in the white crash bar behind the bumper theres holes which an M6 bolt will screw into, the bolts holding the horns in originally I screwed back into their original place, and dug out 2 m6 bolts and washers for the new location This link may help
  18. tte/aero kit doesn't include any side skirts does it?
  19. the grill is just a straight swap, I tend to faff with my grille on a weekly basis lol, even if its just to clean the bumper lol
  20. not a fault at all, just general wear, they all seem different, the seal gets a little bit 'sticky' if the boot hasn't been opened for a few days so u may find that the lock will release but the boot hardly budges, if you open it and close it and pop it again it'll open more as u've 'unstuck' the seal as for how springy the springs are that will vary on how much the boot has been used since leaving the factory or if they've ever been replaced, you may also find that models without spoilers are more likely to pop up more than those with them I would imagine that if the boot isn't used as much the springs get used to being compressed down and therefore don't pop up as much, I could be wrong on that but it seems logical maybe a longer answer than u expected but I had a few mins spare to respond
  21. Blue boot no spoiler be aware theres more than one shade of blue tho...
  22. Would it just be too uneconomical to swap boots and then get them resprayed? its just easier and much cheaper to find someone with the same colour, tbh there will be someone about somewhere with a blue boot and lip who wouldn't mind swapping
