the images that are stitched together are taken different days so lets say you was at work when the camera car passed your house, and then you was at home when it passed your work, so your car may not be on any of the photos they used, my car was at my work parking place when and is on street view, but I am also on it in a different town

Black roof and (nasty) green interior isn't by Lexus, someone has clearly just gone crazy and ruined their car, but there were 50 yellow special editions (1 per dealer, in 2003) (altho there's a 2001 51 on ebay which the seller is claiming was yellow from new, but I beg to differ as it is only an S model spec)

yeh I meant that, lol, I have 225/40/18's and the speedo reading is generally closer to my gps reading, and those speed signs that light up when you drive past them, than when I had the 'correct' tyres on 17's...

300 is same as 200 for standard 17's 225/40/17 is too small, and probably looks silly too as 17's don't fill the arches anyway imo

I was under the impression that DRL's were the strip of LED's that i'm seeing more and more on newer cars, and front fogs are the 2 lights low down on the bumpers of cars (albeit not all cars) a simple statement above, yes, but whats with new cars having steering lights (i don't know the official name)?? but i've seen cars now that when they turn the wheel, the corresponding fog light on the bumper comes on, seems to be anythin German, now I think these only come on if the side/headlights are on, but since its still a fog light, will the regulations change? or are these bulbs dual filament so its not actually the foglight that is on in the lens when the vehicle is turning?

keep it!!!! I live on a slight hill and can't drive up the street from the bottom now until we get thawed out, had to reverse to the side of the road to let 2 saxo's past yesterday and then turn round to go to the top end of the estate to get to mine as the route was longer overall it wasn't as steep, but that meant approaching my house coming down hill and struggling to get onto the drive without sliding past it, lol, the first day after our big snowfall I walked the 5 miles to work which took an hour 40, after that I braved it in the car, takes me longer to defrost the car and get off the drive than it does to drive the rest of the way to work, but I won't have it any other way lol

what does the battery meter read when the key is turned to ON?

if its causing an obstruction aren't there other powers to allow it to be shifted?

power steering motor? the sound of the motor working is apparent when you are at full lock as it can't turn any further, that is perfectly normal, but how loud is yours? does the fluid just need topping up?

we do get icy asda car parks which are often empty at night to try the car out on - (rory struggled in the summer tho !!! - sorry couldnt resist) no fair, my trouble was braking with worn brake pads lol, when the hazards are less obvious people generally take less care, I was fine in winter, theres one junction I turn at which I religiously kick the back end out on if its icy cos it looks good to anyone watching drifting thru the town centre lol

we don't get frozen lakes with thick enough ice to hold a car on lol, however everythin else lex2oos is exactly spot on, the IS is not great in the snow at all, i'm looking to getting some standard 16's for snow/ice and i'll be taking it easy, had an IS since Jan 07 and been absolutely fine in winter just takin it easy

when you say gold if its the beigey gold i'd stick with standard silver colour, anythin else just won't look as good imo, new or new looking silver wheels will make a HUGE difference if yours are corroded at the mo

uk number plate regulations are very specific, there is only 2 styles of font, which are a plain, and a 3D look version of the same font, also the spacing has to be correct between the characters, and the big space between the 'halves' of the registration has to be in the correct place, german style, and any others, are not road legal and generally bought by their owners with the understanding of a disclaimer as the plates can be bought legally, for show/off road use only
