    hi i have an is200 sc and on sunday i started it up and tryed to pull away and the rev's dieded off to idle. i worked out that if i only touch the throttle lightly it works ok so got it home like that. i have got spare coil packs and plugs at home so changed them but this has not helped at all. still ok till put throttle right down then it has a big misfire. any idea's

    waitrose does the cheapest fuel around my way and also it seems to be good fuel as i get the same kind of miles out of a tank as shell which is good cos when i have put tesco's fuel in i get around 30-40miles less.

    hi ya i think the prob with powerflow is that its custom made so it all depends on the man that builds it 4 u. i had twin rage exhausts on mine when i got the car and was told it was done by powerflow near london the work looked awful underneath. pipe weilded onto standerd pipe after centre box. but the thing with it was it sounded good. not loud just a nice subtle tone and i love the look of the twin boxes sticking out the back. if i was getting a single box tho i would keep to the big name cos u know what your getting.

    yeah i done it by hand. it wouldnt turn anymore even when the screw was adjusted. shame if they do all leak. was hoping that wasnt the case cos it could of been the reason for my boost leak

    i took my supercharger off last night to get my power stearing belt and thought i would try blowing through the bypass when closed and it let some air through it. is it supposed to let a small amount through and if not have u got any idea on how to fix it?

    i didnt tighten the belts but that is why i started the topic the about the psi amount cos if its supposed to sit at 3.5 psi throw most of the rev range i know that is not the prob and will have to look at other things

    my big prob is i have got the pro-lex manifold and is fully de-cated had it dyno last year somewhere without these and it was 191bhp at the flywheel so have managed to lose about 10 bhp

    had my car rolling roaded today and my boost was only at about 3.5 psi the hole way from 2500rpm up to 6000rpm with a peak of 4psi. seems low even and thought it should build with the revs.

    hi i have got a supercharged is200 and have just fitted a manifold and decated to my car. since i have done this i have lose power at the top end of the rev's. only prob is i have also had my coil packs go down and had to replace them and the plugs all around the same time. it idels well and upto 5500rpm it feels more powerful. was wondering if it mite be fuel cut or if not has anyone got any idea of what may be casusing this

    i think a service is needed 4 u then. i get 270 out of mine around town and thats with a supercharger and yeha exhaust fitted

    oh didnt no i can put names. its viper exhausts 4 xtreme performance in essex. notices he didnt even fix the blow i got on the join on my manifold which i asked if he could do.

    was thinkin of tryin changing my back boxes got two cheap nastys on it which sounded nice b4 but not now. prob is lookin at about £500 to get something like 2 janspeed back boxes plus gettin someone to fit them. y did the last person put twin pipes on it crycrycry.

    took it out to make it more free flowing since needed new piping anyway and is gettin a o2 simulator to stop engine light. prob with gettin him to do it is when i asked he said it would be to much work at not worth him doing and when i argue with him he got his big friend to kick me out of his garage and basic said your car aint road legal now you dont want the police to find out. so not somewhere im goin again lol

    had my main cat removed and bigger piping put on with a new centre box. it sounds horried about 10 times louder if not more so took it back to them and asked could he put the old centre box in aswell as he put the new box where the cat was. he said it would change the loudness and refused to do it. has anyone else done this???
