I had the same problem when i brought my car, on the car document it said silver yet all polished up it looked black but it the Granite Sky colour, asked the garage and they said they werent sure. For a minute i though i was buying a doggey motor!!!!

Im with Zurich, it cost me an addition £10 a month to go from a Vauxhall Astra SXI to the Lexus Is200. Age 25 with 5 years NCB. Spoke to them about adding my partner onto my policy after she passed her test last week but Zurich have got an age limit of 21 plus 2 years no claims bonus - So just means ill have to drive her round everywhere! Shame :D

Beware of Tesco motor insurance, i was involved in a 10 car pile up on the motorway in 2005 (not my fault and was in the middle) Ive only justed finished sorting out the claim with them, over 2 years later. Cheap but poor service.

The price from Wheel Style in Bristol were £70 a alloy (3-4 day turn around) pictures look amazing and they seem to know what there are on about. Should be getting my new alloys dont next month.

Guy, just wanted to let everyone know as we have alot of new members coming on at the mo (including myself) I asked a question on here about getting a european sat nav disc on the cheap rather then going through the main dealership after I was told that i would have to purchase each disc (Great Brition/France & Germany) at £165 each! i was told by LOC members to contact Lexus GB on 0845 278 8888 and Lexus do a loan service where they post the discs out to you 2 days before you travel and all you have to do is return them back to Lexus 2-3 days when you return and its all FREE!! Everyone i spoke to at the call centre was brillant and fingers crossed the disc should arrive next month and hopefully i wont be lost somewhere in Europe when we go on holiday!! So thanks for all the information and hopefully by posting this more people will use the service as i find it amazing that a big dealer does a service like this! :D

Where are the best places to get the alloys refurbed and roughly how much does it cost? Is it possible to make even the worst looking alloys new again?

Where did u get that price from!!!! Lexus in Bristol quoted me £356 last week!!!! Plus how many miles have u done because i know lexus say it should be done at 6 years or 100,000miles ive on 6 years this autumn but only 70,000 so was planning to save up and get it done later on in the year!

Hi guys, ill hope to see you over there - leaving on the Sunday 17th and returning on the 25th. Should be spending alot of the time at the track as my misses parents are taking their new nissan 350z over aswell to see how it does. Going by ferry so hopfully we see you either in the car park or on the track.

I'll look out for you, was down on the seafront yesterday with the car sat eating fish and chips with the misses in the sun! Who said romance was dead!!! Saw another nice looking grey is200 in Tesco's car park but normally alot of nice cars and bikes asend on Weston every bank holiday but you have to becareful of the police as they normally sit on the roundabouts as you come into town waiting to pull you!

Hi Guys, Next month im taking the car to Germany and ive spoken to Lexus in Bristol about getting the Sat Nav in my car updated due to the disc still being the orginal which is now 6 years old. Ive asked Lexus if they do United Kingdom / Western Europe disc but was told I would have to buy each countries disc seperatly (Great Brition / France / Germany) and each disc is £165 each!!! Is there another other way of buying these disc without going through Lexus direct? Ive tried Ebay but noone seems to be selling lexus discs??

Heated/ Lights Up in the dark??? Anyone else have this?

Hi guys, finally picked up my car this morning!!!!! Said my goodbyes to my old car and now never looked back! Just got it home and as you can see from the photos it needs its first wash already!!! Need to put on a boot lip spoiler, change the alloys to the 5 spoke SE and tint the windows - but all in time! Hi all, After around 2 months looking long and hard all over the country for my new toy! Ive finally found my Lexus and cant wait to pick it up on Saturday!!!! :) Ordered my club stickers to proudly put in the car and thanks for all the help over the last few weeks in helping me decide which car to buy! I'll post some pictures over this weekend so everyone can see! Plus ill see any members who are going across to Germany in June as ive was already booked in for a race week at the ring!!
