Just spotted this on ebay if you read the description he has a set of sport alloys to go with the car as he has fitted new ones, why dont you make him an offer on the old alloys you never know for the right price he might sell them . http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...&category=50175 i would also think that the caliper sticking on is not helping your vibration problem so after sorting this have the alloys balanced and you never now could be problem sorted

I don,t think people like him should make it to prison .bring back hanging in these cases it is 100% clear he did it why waste taxpayers money on keeping him in prison ,if it was one of my girls he did it to (*** forbid) i would try my hardest to get to him somehow

Agree totaly if someone has previous it should be known. think your better getting out of london though i did it years ago and would never go back ,much better for the nippers.i still work there now and then but on the way home i can feel the gloom lifting as i get out the other side of the tunnel(blackwall).

Have you tried phoning some of the alloy repair places to see if by some chance they can be repaired.If you do buy new wheels try to stick as close to the origanals as poss i have seen a few that look good .try looking through the max power mags etc to get an idea on what you want they do some quite good wheel and tyre combos

Did the car have a new MOT when you bought it and when did lexus last service it because the points you mention are mot failures and things that lexus should have seen on its last service .as for your last point when the car is fixed and up and running you will not be disapointed it is the only car i have owned that do,s everything well ,all the others i have had all were good at a few things but the lex in my opinion is the complete package .In fact i am thinking of buying the mk2 sport to gain the bigger boot space.i would aproach the garage you bought it from and ask them to put right the problems.also was the car sold with a warrenty as a few of the problems could be covered

I looked into this on my mk1 and from what i can remember the power gain realy was not worth the money £400.I think they are more suited to turbo driven cars .some of the diesels get unbeleivable power increase .i remember the increase in mine was about 8bhp :duh: .

Ah i was under the impression they were more sought after due to the higher performance ;)

I had a look it is an Altezza all the sat nav is in japanese and service history is also.

is it that expensive for a 2001 car with sat nav and 49,000m .you would probaly get it for £12500 .not sure on colour though bit girlie .i thought the other car was good value at £9500
