Well i can see your point but there is no way i am going to sit in traffic for ages only for someone else to come up the outside lane and push in front of me .lets be honest if you are in a line of traffic and you see someone comming down the outside do you think "oh look someone needs to get in i will leave a gap big enough to let him in and here comes another must let him in as well " were do you stop and if everyone came down the outside lanes surely this is creating a bottle neck as people have to brake to let people in .seems to me it creates a stop start movement were as if everyone joined the inside lane further back the traffic would flow more easily .Some lorry drivers deliberately straddle the two lanes, thus preventing car drivers from using the empty lane - an unhelpful and stupid manoeuvre .the lorrys do this because they are the ones the queue jumpers target as they much slower to pull away can you imagine every time the traffic moves some one jumps in front of you must get pretty fustrating .

So all five are totaly shagged ,i would get a second opinion seems a bit much all five being like it .would cost you a fortune to replace origional wheels i think they are closer to £400 each .Also to kink every wheel i would start loking to see if there is any suspension damage as car sounds like it has hit a kerb very hard with all four ,i would take it to lexus for a full inspection and see what they turn up than i would give full report to the garage that sold you the car they are responsable for putting the car right and if it has a kink in every wheel then they should replace them as you have only owned the car a few weeks

Seems a bit extreme to me i can understand the fronts neening replacing as they are heavy on them but seems a bit quick for the rears to wear out .then again i had to have rear discs and pads at 29,000 so not really surprised

3 lanes could merge into one if they thought about it when they first see the signs a mile away from the actual lane closusre .It is the people who stay in the out side lanes to the last minute that cause the congestion by rushing in at the last minute causing people behind to brake and creating a knock on affect on the people behind them.I just can,t help feeling that a traffic queue is just like any other queue ,you join it from the back and queue until you reach the front unless of course you feel you are special and have a right to push in

If you have three lanes of traffic alll moving along at 70mph and you see signs saying lane ahead closed surley if everybody moved into the lanes that are not closed before it closes this would create a continuous line of moving traffic .this is until someone leaves it to the last minute and cuts in causing someone to brake and causing a chain reation all the way along the line of what was moving traffic .i can see your point if the traffic is already at a standstill but not when traffic is moving to my mind it just creates stress and in some cases roadrage ,get to the back and wait your turn .

Got to be honest i can not beleave the amount of people that have ticked the all of the time box .looks like :tsktsk: holes drive lexus to.

The problem is if no one done it there would not be a queue just one long line of traffic all progessing through the bottle neck it is when the i rule the world person go,s up the outside and cuts in the traffic forms ,thus creating a stop start effect of people braking to let them in .

I just can,t help thinking the people who cut in must have that i own the world attitude ,i mean who do they think they are the :tsktsk: queen.

This is one of my biggest bug bears don,t you just hate the bloke who comes right to front expecting to push in ,this is what cause most tail backs in roadworks on the motorway ,if every body got over when they see the sign for lane marrowing there would be no tail back.i love to block the outside lane to stop them commimg through in my van :D .The funny thing is these people would not push in at a supermarket etc because they aint got the security and protection of there little metal box and know people would tell em to get to the back.i say wait your turn cause i would rather hit your car than let you in

Were i live the worst offenders for speeding are the scooby,supras, mr2,s etc and in particuler some twot in a soarer tt ,i live opposite a school on a very straight strecth of road .the corsa brigade are noisy and annoying but because there engines are small they are very slow, it is the second generation modders with there turbos and dump valves in the high performance cars that cause the problem most of them are going through a second youth and reaching speeds of up to 80mph in a 30 mph limit .as tony said they have the money to take there cars to silly bhp and some of them have no respect for the limit at all .

Any one know how to convert litres into gallons .i need to know how many litres in a gallon as i am impoting from america and they do everything in gallons i useally buy five litres and need to know how this compares in gallons.thanks in advance

Well spotted jac you are dead right it had me fooled earlier .same bloke is selling boot lid as welll and bumper saying they are for the sport

tyre wear was the problem on mine to seems as the tyres wore out the worse the shake got i had four new pirrillis put on last week and now all is fine not the slightest wobble .this could also be due to the fact that the tyres were balanced when new tyres added .as for tracking it is only as good as the bloke using the equipment so find some one who specialises in it rather than kwik fit etc ,lexus would be my choice but will be pricey.i think your disc are fine as colin said you would notice warped discs when braking but i can not harm going back to lexus pads and discs.

My mk 1 started to do this before i fitted the new tyres and since then all has been well,i agree they seem to be very sensative and it took the tyre fitter ages to get them right they ended up taking all four to a different branch that had a newer machine ,surprised how heavy mk1 sport wheels are the blokes vectra nearly colapsed with the weight :P .i would say your problem must be balancing as it happens intermintently and from your post seems you can drive through the wobble.
