  1. Most computer parts have the silica gel bags in the boxes as well.. so computer stores will have loads lying about.... I know we do :) John
  2. That link is for the 9006 bulb.. which is correct for my GS300 low beam. I am not sure on the type of bulb on an IS200, but the seller does all the various types anyway.. including the Bi-Xenon type, although they are slightly more expensive. Fitting is just plug and play, so even the missus could have done it :) John
  3. Here is a link to what I bought.. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HID-XENON-CONVERSION...emZ300151863295 they come with 18 months warranty. The shipping price has gone up slightly, but it is still only £46 in total.. I still haven't received any customs charges, but even so, it won't be any more than a tenner. My view is that all the kits are made in China/Hong Kong anyway, and rebadged/boxed for different suppliers. why pay more for the same thing. John
  4. True, but it is unusual to lose ALL the keys.. John
  5. And here is how to do it for just over a tenner...... buy a brand new case from ebay for just a few quid.. have the key cut to your car. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ONE-NEW-REMOTE-KEY-S...emZ330168477360 buy a second hand genuine key for a few quid from ebay.. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LEXUS-3-BUTTON-REMOT...emZ270169345461 take out the electronics and fit to the newly cut case.. Reprogram the key for your car.. The links are just examples... there is always plenty available, both 3 and 2 button versions.. John
  6. Nothing to do with headlight washers.... technically, no kit is legal as they do not have self levelling mechanisms... but as long as the beam pattern and aim are correct, they will pass the MOT without problems.. John
  7. As you say, newer disks have more roads listed, and also many more POI's When you first insert a new DVD, it will update the firmware of the satnav system. John
  8. Very expensive for a HID kit... I just got a set from Ebay for £44 inc delivery.... took 12 days to arrive, fitted in 20 mins.. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HID-XENON-CONVERSION...emZ300150574151 John
  9. I think a newer CD/DVD will make a difference.... When you use the mapupdate website, try and choose a different vehicle, as the disks fit more than one model... just make sure the part number you input is correct for your disk. I have a GS300, but bought a DVD for an IS200/300. John
