System restore won't normally put programs back that have been uninstalled.. only the settings that were in the registry, and shortcuts.. also, system restore does not affect any work saved.. You will have to re-install MS Word (or Office 2000) from CD.. hopefully you will get this sorted soon.. John

Also works for a snapped key... Another option is to add a second hand genuine Lexus key, if yours is lost or doesn't work.. use the new casing, transfer the insides and reprogram to your car. John

From that.. the heater on your O2 sensor is faulty... The heater is there to give a reading sooner from a cold start, but once warm it would be fine.. It won't cause much of a problem with your car, and only be wasting a small amount of fuel from cold.. a replacement is the only cure. there are universal sensors which utilise the existing leads from your old sensor, and can be bought very cheaply. check http://www.buypartsby.co.uk/lambda_sensors.php Can someone please confirm it would be the 4 wire sensor that we need.. Answer: buy a replacement empty fob off ebay for about a fiver, and have it cut for a few quid.. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-3-BUTTON-SHELL-K...emZ180155851331 open your fob, replace the battery, and put the inside into the new fob. John

My local Toyota dealer said they could service my GS300 with no problems, and gave me a quote of around £285 for a 100K service.. although I doubt that would include the timing belt.. I have a guy in Sheffield who serviced my 626GT for many years, and although he is a Mazda trained specialist, I would have no hesitation in using him to service the GS.. I trust him totally.... and would be way less than the Toyota dealer anyway.. John. -
