hi,your ECU is the some,some jack plug,but has ,oil temp,oil level,auto start,vacuum switch,these wires will be conected,but not in the ECU.The only thing to check ,if your HP is the some,because i think the auto has a bit more.the ECU put in a little more fuel on the auto,but i don't think it would be.IT WORKING,don't fix,what not broke. B)

hi,yes M/T is a manual tran's, 3SGE is the eng used, and yes u can uses both types ,but the ECU will not read the auto faults,if u have a fault. B)

hi, try changing your speedo pick up sensor.your sensor is magnetic, and pick up all the iron filings from the gear-box B) Is that a simple job or how much at a garage thank you and where is best place to buy one cheers HT. hi,yes it is a simple job,but i need more details of your car,eg the make,year,auto or manu.then i can take u through and how to test your switch,maybe it just a clean. Hi ,make sure u got the correct plugs.on the sides of the plugs there is a number which is the heat range. if u fit the wrong heat range,the car run fine ,but u lose the smoothness,the plug gap is also important.eg NGK BPR6EY WITH A GAP OF 1.1 B)

hi, check that the by-pass clear,thats the coolant by-pass,and if it is OK check your thermo-time switch, which mounts close to the temp sensor,disconect the plug 1 by 1, find out which is which and then test the switch with a ohrms metertemp=20 resistance-ohms2000-3000 =40 ; ; 800-1200 60 500-650 80 ; ; 300-400 , if u don't get the same reading then replace the switch B) also chech your air pipes,pull .apart 1 by 1 and check for cracks and leaks. hi i dont have a ohms tester.please can you explain to me over the thermo time switch as i am not clued up in that.do you think i have a faulty sensor switch? thanks Hi ,can't say if it is the sensor with out the test,but would think so.These sensors are pricy, so don't just change.make sure that it is the problem.as the sensors get old it take longerand longer to drop the revs, thing to check,the by pass termostat seals,vacuum tubes,and time how long it take for the revs to drop, from cold before going to your sensor B)

Hi, sound like your thermostat is staying open and not letting your cold start off until it is warm.it alway the small things at cause big problems.hope this helps u B)

Oh yes ,i've had them fitted,and are working fine.the sensors all send out a reading ,and the car finds that reading.In your hand book states were your reset,and program are,the rest is a walk in the park.One of my m8', used the old sensor ,took them off and fitted them to his new wheel,and had no problems.his sensor were on his car for 3 years, and came off easy.hope u win with yours B) I've check the sensor and they all have the same part numbers.by turning your sensors off,u might lose your pre-crash,EBD systems , which all work on the same system,before turning your system off, find out more from dealer. :o Hi Terry, Any chance of showing a step by step on resetting the sensors. Thanks, Asif Hi Asif,I bought my sensor at a Lexus main dealer in the states,the sensor are the same as used by all the toyota and lexus models that have the system fitted which are the SE-L.The step by step reset is ,hold reset button until CHECH SYSTEM comes on,wait for system check then select 1 or 2 .and thats job done.make sure the car is NOTdriven before doing this.Hope this helps B)

hi ,i've got my sencors from the good USA for only 200 pounds for 4,and thats 50£ each.for 700£ u can buy your sencors and have a holiday. This is the best time to do it. B)

hi ,the vehicle stability control system picks up off your ABS sensor,and being a new car, just want's the air gap set,as for your key, try to reset by holding the lock button for 5 sec by the driver side,rear screen,as the main dealer's set both keys together,and the car will only pick up one.hope this help B)
