    If you're changing the rear discs/pads, I'd advise you to get the handbrake shoes done as well or at least checked. I've had my rear brakes done recently (discs, pads and handbrake shoes). At 104k, my handbrake shoes were worn down to the metal. From memory, handbrake shoes cost me £58 for 4 shoes (2 shoes for each side), these were OEM Lexus items from Lexus Leeds. You could probably buy the shoes cheaper, (eg: Blueprint items), but I'd rather fit genuine items to my car. anybody got a guide on removing the rear discs shoes etc thanks. :duh:

    got my mintex discs and pads there to.now on to the back set,does anybody have a guide on doing the back brakes just so i have a ref thanks

    6 faultless years now with the IS200 Sportnav, and 2 of the same with the IS250 SE-L. :) ...may be changing both fairly soon though :winky: 9 month and going strong done 10,000 miles,changed front pads and discs back needing done soon need new tyres and a wee service,all because lexus aberdeen are *****,but love my is200

    hi yeah the kit came from prolex,was simple to fit you need to get a couple of clamps for the rubber housing to go on the throtle body but part from that easy job.yeah there is a bit more responce and a raspy sound to it.

    yeah but will you drink 70 liters of beer ,let me know if those alloys of yours come up for sale,you have got me interested in that grounding kit and just a few other mods,want a new back box possible wind defflectors,side skirts oh the list could go on and on and on but sadley they pennys don't,where is the jae happening???

    hi there i am a new member.and also have the same problem wit hthe navigation it all happened when the disk got ejected.i put the same disk back in and got the disk error screen,i contacted lexus to be told that a new dvd player would be needed for only £1000 pound,not cheep,has anybody got this problem fixed.... regards one very sad lexus is200 owner.
