    see i still see them as a nice car but it's likely to be at the upper end of it's power limit at 280bhp I want more headroom :D

    yeah I don't think there's any confusion that it is "slightly" editted :P but either way some epic driving on display and a lovely scooby :P there's also a build video of the car from start to finish on youtube :) and the figures it churns out are mind boggling.

    i spoke to steve at silverline tuesday this week he could do a 1G-GTE for £7k drive in drive out but i'm thinking bigger or different to be more precise ;)

    well yeah I hope so although i'm still not happy with the colour difference so really want to get that side tidied up and resprayed properly, whilst you lot were sunning yourself I was burning my hand on a red hot car at 9am lol. The quote isn't bad but then you consider that I got a quote on a 94 Toyota Supra 3ltr Twin-Turbo UK spec for £580 and it then kind of takes the preverbial.

    yeah think they are 170bhp as standard definately a tasty project for someone but pretty expensive to buy off the bat :P, unfortunately didn't speak to sky as my renewal came up just as this whole episode with my car occured however I did manage to get it fairly cheap £650 (bearing in mind i'm 23 with only 1years NCB) so can't complain too much.

    hmm for 5k your really looking at a charger, i'm currently looking into a 1G or 1JZ conversion and it's set to be around 7-9k depending on how big I want to go, my goal is 400 at the wheels so i'm looking at a single. Only problem on the 1JZ is sourcing a R154 gearbox but your better off just trying to find a manual soarer/chaser with the 1JZ lump :) My other option was a RB20DET swap to be really different which is not out of the question but due to the manufacturer it will cost a little more due to the pig of an issue that will be the electrics.

    Currently in the garage Ian having it's repairs to the front bumper after the most recent episode :( my insurance has gone up slightly due to it which is pertty unjustifiable but we know what insurance companies are like. I'm not too fussy as the courtesy car I have is a 58plate VW Golf GT-TDi sport with 4k on the clock and its the 140bhp model with 17" alloys, full leather heated seats, rear tinted windows and boy does it shift :P

    I have done steve annoyingly Admiral were the cheapest which funnily enough fall under the same umbrella as Bell but admiral offer a lot more benefits and have dropped £200 off my excess which is nice so bell have honoured admirals quote for me :)

    well the car has gone in and I was nervous as hell as to what comedy car i mean courtesy car I was going to be given, well here she is folks 2ltr Golf GT TDi 6spd :) with full leather interior and heated seats so can't complain at all haha

    unfortunately steve i next review now lol :( poor timing really. They said that regardless of fault statistics have shown that within the same year of a non fault claim there is a fault claim so for this reason it goes up apparentl all insurance companies will increase premium on a non-fault claim.
