  1. You sure? I thought you could have blue, as long as they were small, but the one colour you *must not have* is red. Could be wrong, though! no external blue lights are legal on any vehicle except emergency services. red is legal at rear else you wouldnt have brake/fog lights but not front..   4. Hi guys, raging with myself . Had my Lexus for a couple of months now and am delighted with it. The paintwork was fantastic until today, when i STUPIDLY took the car through a car wash for the first time. When it came through the other end it had two big scratches on it, i know im an idot for taking the easy option. The question is, does anyone know of any good scratch remover? Thanks guys, Tommy

  13. it is not illegal nor will it fail a mot!!!(i'm a mot tester)when checking the rear lights you just run through them so your fog lights and brake lights are not on at the same time as long as they all work you'll be fine, shhhhhhhh but half the testers i know just make sure the tell tail light on the dash or the switch light comes on!!!! its a cool mod and i will be doing it in the very near future prob on sat! :winky: Good to know matey, thanks for that.   15. Hi guys, how hard is it to wire your brake lights up to your rear fog lights, and would it fail an MOT, this would be my 1st mod the instructions need to be idiot proof Tommy
  16. Thanks - I've got an MoT on Saturday so I'll ask them to check both the pads and the ball joints but it is sounding like the pads Ive just posted something similar. Im getting my geomtry done next thursday but have a knocking noise coming from drivers wheel, only when im on a bumpy surface. Im taking my car to garage today, so will mention to the guy about the brake thing. Tommy

Hi guys, managed to find a motor engineer in Scotland, who is going to set my geomtry to WIM's settings (many thanks again Tony) next week, the problem i have is i think the drivers ball joint is needing replaced, as their is a knocking noise coming from the front drivers wheel, the question is, would the settings be out if i waited to have the ball joint looked at ? or would it not affect the geomtry, Many Thanks in advance, Tommy
