just rang 3 electricians and a guy who set up his own ICE electronics business and non of the buggers will touch me n my lex!!

problem is i want the ac really bright which involves soldering in more leds, and i like the OEM stereo, dont fancy changing it. if it was cheaper to replace i'd give it ago but bit nervous about trying

My colour changeing 1 is in the roof not door sorry iv got clear with ultra violet in my doors thanx 2 Aztec i was thinkin about ultra violet, how much does it stand out? does it look bright? Here you go mate this is what the clear lenses and UV led's look like on my IS200, :D they look superb! if my multi colour ones are a bit naff i think i'll go down the UV route. cheers matey

sounds like Aztec might be able to save me again! I hope he has, didnt even think when i ordered the bulbs

see the last thing i want to do is damage the unit, im normally the type to give anything a try but if i mess up my stereo i'll be gutted. im in the mids too mate, just near wolves

i dont need much light, i brought em for the lights in the doors. The plastic cover is that red? can you get clear ones cus my multi changing bulb aint gonna look good through a red cover

hi guys, i have changed all the lights in my car to blue/green apart from the a/c and stereo, that require soldering. i cannot do this to the level needed. does anyone know of anyone i can pay to do this for me? cheers

he he now thats an informative post! buuuuut, i searched for ba9 on ebay and it only bought a couple of bulbs up, and if i type green i get one option from usa with a £20 p&p!!

superstar! thanks mate. was thinkin blue middle light and green map lights, could create a turquise? kinda glow. plus it will match my ignition, clocks and soon to be dash! dont suppose you know the glovebox bulb off top of ur head do you?

Im getting used to this posting lark, got this forum in background all day at work n first thing i do when i get back i turn it on, my mate who sits next to me at work rips the :tsktsk: , everytime i have a new idea he shouts, "better run it past the guys at the forum ey" lol. oh well its good to be passionate about summat! anyway my original reason for posting... I saw on a recent post about declaring things to the insurance, what sort of things do you need to declare? I changed my wheels but they are the same size and original lexus wheels anyway so surely the insurance wouldnt know? how about things like HID's? or little things like the grom, painted calipers, sports grill? i await your informative input! ;)

You know the light that comes on when you open the door, the big one in the middle of the roof, anyone changed the bulb in there to another colour? look any good?

my mate has a limited edition is200 and when you open the door the panel inside the door iluminates blue. looks really cool, is this poss to do on all is200's?

also, on topice, anyone else used the HID's tommy has bought? are they any good? Tommy whats the light on the road like? much better?

anyone got an image of the the 2 grills so i can see the difference? minbe isnt the sport model but im sure i already got the sprts grill, doesnt look like its standard

Looking good matey :D did you do the ignition ring aswell?? :) yeh did the ignition ring green, took me a while cus the led was a little dirfferent n a little bigger so i had to get a knife n shave the sides. next stop is a/c and stereo, bit nervous of that one tho

ok, got my bulbs n had a go. the picture makes it look too light but the colour looks alot better in the car. What you guys think?

how did you manage to scratch the dash? i can only imagine the scratches are at the top by where you take off the centre tray. its a bit gutting if you have slipped, is oit on the ac controls or the stereo itself. if its ac then maybe just get a new one off ebay on the cheap, if its the stereo, well its hardened plastic, cant imagine anything that would remove it completey if you have but a gash in it.

do you guys still have the original locking nuts? how bout if you wanna buy them, do lexus still supply them? and where can i buy the cap that goes over the locking nut cus mine looks almost brass now
