    thats waht im gonna do, solder and see, but i dont know how to turn the circuit board on without plugging back into car

    what im doing is replaceing the 40 odd 0805 leds in the stereo. they are very very small, so once i solder them on i want to be able to light the circuit board up to see if they have all been soldered correctly.

    im really not good at electrics, if i buy a 12v battery and put a wire on each end and then put the two ends on the pins would that not do anything? or is that reeeeaaly dumb?

    im going to attempt to solder my new led's tonight on my stereo. but i dont want to keep re-fitting the stereo everytime to check if it works. is there a way of powering it up just to see the lights while im at my desk?

    Cheers mate Any reason why you went for 6000k? 6000K are the most popular choice. they are still really bright and have a hint of blue in there, not enough to be illegal and fail mot's

    i fitted those one's today aswell, amazing! there are pics from tommy on where he but his ballasts and i put a pic on of the difference between the 2 bulbs HERE. where do you get main beam ones, i assume then there not just the same as the other ones?

Did I say limited meant Extended would defo look at all the other fixes aswell tho as this may be short term ;) yeh i will do, im gonna by a head cleaner tomoz, and i have a spare unit so as we speak im taking it apart to see how to get to the lens. finding it hard tho

    cd's go in and out fine, just dont play, thinks about it then the error1 comes up. how do i reset the ecu?

    After changing the bulbs in my ac unit if put it all back together again and now my cd dishes out Error1. is this like err3 or can this one be fixed?

    they are pretty good, i wanted a photo to compare the two so i changed one back so i could see the difference in the dark! BIG DIFFERENCE!!

    tommy, quick question mate. On The HID, im assuming that because ours are the twist n lock bulbs the rubber gromit thing thats on the wire is of no use? and did you take out your right light or did you manage? dont suppose you got a pic of where you put the ballasts have you? cheers

    i took the ac out to change bulbs, i did it in the car at night so had the 3 lights on in the car, after all my messing i put it back and now the car wont start!! and makes a loud clicking noise in the left hand side?? Please just tell me my battery has died!!

    i just took the unit apart!! holy pants im out my depth!! i can barley see the led's let alone solder em!! quick question the unit i brought is the same as the one in my car 13903. if i sort this one out first time, do you think i could just replace the circuit board on my original stereo, save doing it twice? i would of thought the err3 would be in the unit not the head circuits? hmm

    i just brought a unit off ebay that has err3 and been round to collect it. so just need to wait for the bulbs to come and im set. just hope i manage it with no problems!!

    lol change the ignition, its vital! like the doors mate. the multi ones dont seem to give off much light tho, or is that just the pic?

    ok new plan, buying a err3 unit off ebay on the cheap, testing my skills on that, if i can do with no mistakes im going for the big time lol!!
