  1. The back light on my radio does not work, the CC is fine though. I've just phoned the local Toyota/Lexus dealer and they say it's a sealed unit and they can't supply the bulbs ...rather weird as I'm pretty sure I've read somewhere that someone bought them from the dealer. Anywayssss....does anyone know what type/number LED bulb will fit?
  2. Agreed. It also makes it look more 'modern' in my opinion. I'm pretty pleased with the result.
  3. Today the chrome strips from Canada arrived:) fitted them Before: After:
  4. I'd say the mkIV engine and interior wise but def. the mkIII for exterior looks :)
  5. The '95 has 260Bhp standard and can do 0-60 in 7.9 secs which is quite impressive for a saloon car this size. I have also seen 7.4s to 60mph for a Mark 3 (Autocar). Sometimes I feel mine does 0-30 in about 7 secs and 30 to 60 in 0.4. Well, you know what I mean ! I know what you mean. you get that nice boost :)

  7. just don't watch any Lexus for sale ads for a while ;) I'm sure it will be advertised £2000+
  8. relax setanta...it was a joke. If you read the whole thread you'll understand..hopefully :0
  9. Looks sweet. At what sort of place did you have them 'bound in' though?
  10. First ever thing I bought my Mk 3 was a set of the proper Lexus floor mats. At £170 it is still the largest single expense on the car after five years. The same week I bought them, I bought a set of genuine VW mats for my wife's golf. They cost less than 10% of the LS ones. Grrrr. £170?? holy &@(*@^ and that was 5 years ago. And that for 4 pieces of tailored carpet. :o lol
  11. Anyone know what they cost at Lexus? does someone else do them too? Does anyone have a good set? :)
  12. I take it the Ls is wet sanded and then polished the ***** out of it..:)
  13. Agreed and even after all those years on the road they still drive better than a lot of new cars :)
  14. Is the handling noticeably better ? I'd say the suspension on my old one was a bit 'stiffer', but the overall handling is better yes.
  15. I also know that, but have decided that Braintree is little too far away ;)
  16. Thanks Steve and Mark, yeah half a towbar..lol. The car does have a few scratches but they should polish out no problem. The only issue it has really is that the radio back light is not working. The climate control display is fine. Oh yeah and the milage 119k...not even run in..lol
  17. Well...got rid of the GTO today and bought a MkIII Ls :) What a difference with my old '93...incredible. Full documented history, every bill, every MOT from new Anyways a few pics
  18. I'll give you a grand cash for it! £1200 :) You're blocked as a bidder!lol Damnit :( :)
  19. I always like to kow when someone buys a fairly new Lexus 460 if it was a bought by own hard earned cash or did they need the bank? :)
  20. if the voltage measured across the battery terminals is between 13.5 and 14.4 you're still OK
