i might be able to help you get hold of a new ribbon..... we have a few scraped sat nav systems at work and i can look for a ribbon from this to fit yours but i will need the broken ribbon to compare them...... i know you asked me yesterday but i'm not at work at the moment but was in for a bit today to fix a new battery

so the first thing you need to do is get some led's , i got these then you need to remove the door sills from the car which is done by placine a flat screew driver under then and popping off the plastic holders.... then when you have them home you need to remove the metal plate by lifting the metal tabs from the back then you need to remove the large plastic plugs only i used a knife for this and just cut off the back of the plug so it can be popped out so you end up like this then you need to put the metal back together with the plastic and drill the holes for the led's ... i usen a 5mm drill bit but check what size you leds are. after drilling you need to clean up the back of the plastic with a knife to remove any bits of plastic left then you need to glue the led's into the plastic then solder it all up and check that it's all working good then you need to put it in the car and hock it up to the light loop from the key barrel unit. and there you go.. everybody has a light door sill hope this helps you jason

yes just get a blank key cut and then program it with your master key and the car.....you can get a 2 button key from ebay for 10 pounds if you want then pm me and i will send you my pay pal account jason

got hold of a couple of heated seat sets from work and all the tools to fix the seats with and removed the leather and placed them in then just put them back. removed the snow/tcr button to the space you have for coins near the light washer switch and got hold of a heated seat switch from a toyota and wired it all in here you can see all 3 heated seat buttons

got the rear heated seat. going for 300 bhp so thats not a problem. want the cruise control and arm rests but what it needs is a little bit more room in the back. just a few more inches would have been great

so here are the things i got and a bit of a how to as a few people have asked how it was done http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...e=STRK:MEWNX:IT http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/lexus-is200-dash-air...=item439bfc8f42 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PLASMA-DISPLAY-VOLTM...=item5636abb2e4 so i cut down the gauge pod by alot so it would sit with the right angel when in place..... lots of gaps but not to worry. let it dry the filled it all up with more glue... used a black 2 part epoxy resin glue. let it dry then plastic padding filled it out. did this a couple of times till it lokked 99% then used a spray filler and sprayed then hole thing then rubbed it down with 480 paper then spay filler one last time then sprayed it mat black.. so you know you can use your own vent tray if you want but i want to keep mine incase i want to put it back if i sell the car and when you do the work you can remove the vents from it so you can work on the housing only

here in sweden we all have winter tires. the size is 205/55/16 and any toyota dealer should have rims for your car. the avensis / corrolla verso and the auris all have the same wheels you need to fit the is200

ok as it was said there was a post just over a week ago in which i listed the best type of bulbs to get http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...showtopic=64227 try this you can see some photo's but this is not finished as i am waiting for the new t5 i ordered the bulbs in there are the old ones i tried

here is mine.... only problem i had was the gps antenna contact was to long when fitted that it would not fit into the hole... so fixed just ordered a new one with a 90 degree fitting on it

yer have this problem here in sweden last year...... but check it out a friend made it for me...... asked for a black one with a (L) on it but got this instead..... better than the kids sock i had last year

why not just paint the inner bits of the spokes black and leave the rest silver

if you want white then you just need to take the orange rubber bulb covers off the bulbs.. they have a cover on them so this is a easy job

yes. you need to find out if you have a amp in the car... are you going to change the head unit? yes is good if your putting the amp in.. i put my sub into the ski hatch.. removed the hatch at fixed it in there onto a piece of wood cut to shape got 2 amps in the back and a few bits more to find out about if you have a amp you need to look inside the glove box. there on the side at the back is the amp here is a link best to search the loc... it's all been covered in here before http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...;hl=finding+amp
