I had an intermediate Service with Lexus and that cost me £150 but that was when my car was at 36k miles

i just got my insurance renewal and its £652 for a 10months! i paid £560 last year.. i currently have 3 years driving experience, 3 NCB and im 31. Im currently with Admiral and after doing a new quote with Elephant which is basically the same group i got it down to £548! Im going to shop around but im planning to have non increasing BHP mods installed on my car... any recommendations?

looks bad, have you tried taking it to a body shop and see what their opinions are? im sure the boys here will give you a better answer than mine :( If it ends up being a write off then it may be worth trying to sell parts of the car such as alloys etc etc.

im waiting for the mesh bits before i get them to fit and spray the bumper. Do you think its probably best to get rid of a few stone chips since they are spraying the front bumper or do you think it wont be any cheaper?

When Durham burst its banks last year i drove through a couple of pig puddles which submerged above the head lights. I just put it in st gear and made sure i didnt stall otherwise its bye bye Lexus :( thankfully i went through a lot and fingers crossed never again... i gave the car a good jetwash and washed underneath and cleaned the crap from under the bonnet. hope that helps

i think you should give it a good wash/claybar/polish/wax and then put a cover over it so that dust cant settle etc etc :) good plan?

Im just waiting for Lexus to call me up to tell me that the sports grills are in and BAM new bumper! I was told 6th July but im guess its due in a few weeks from now *sigh*

Peeps, Woke up this morning for work and i noticed this has happened to my car! i thought it might have been my mum with the lawn mower on Sunday so i was looking for blue paint marks but no luck. The only place it could have happened was Saturday when i went to Burger King and parked my car in the car park, but still there wasnt anything near by and when i got out the car back home im sure it wasnt there. Anyone figure out what it could have been? theres no cracks to the front bumper just a large scuff mark and white residue and if you notice carefully the paints entirely gone on one part. See the pictures below Oh my :( im lucky to be getting my TTE front bumper installed sometime this month anyway, but still this made me feel annoyed all day today. RGGRRRR

The only stickers im going to put on my car is the ones on my rear and front Calipers when i get it done :)

I think ive seen your car on the A19 Northbound, as i do remember your car colour. Ive not seen many IS200 in that colour so its kinda unique :) Also nice TRD body kit :) those side skirts are impossible to find these days unless your willing to pay silly prices from the Lexus dealer :((

I have a Sat nav in my IS200 and the price they charge for the latest set is crazy. If they reduced it to £100 then i would probably take the bite.

I think Ormi car is what we mere mortals are hoping to achieve in the future years :P

i bought the bumper from breet so he took a photo for me which im guessing is back in February or March during the lovely snow season. Ive had the bumper sitting in my garage for a couple of months now so i decided once i got the spare cash i would get it sprayed and fitted with all the sport grills inc badge :) Its going to be 6th July before its all done as i think some of the grills on are back order (thanks to ACLex for getting my the product parts and 10%). Ive had yet to install the BC coilovers that i bought from Sheeldzy and also the front and rear brembo brake discs i got from SINGH182 so that will be the next installment after i figure out how much my next insurance quote is going to be in August :(
