you should keep a look out on the sale thread. I nearly got some nice 18" tyres inc Alloys... i think its the standard IS200 Sports or something like so keep an eye out.. oh he was charging £400

Hunt me down a blue one!!! :D thanks for the advice Ormi its pay day next week and i need to set some money aside for car insurance and a new set of rear tyres (Falkens 452) so maybe look into it at the end of next month but if theres a bargain to be had then perhaps i'll buy it and store them in the garage as im also looking out for some side skirts too :)

Ive just been getting quotes for my car and i swear its gone up £100 since i last did a check few months back. Im 30 with 2 yr NCB when i have to come renew in end of Oct and i cant believe the ive been quoted £625!! bloody car insurance companies i swear they take the micky mouse at times.

Well my job is water engineering in which i deal with flooding problems :) am i right in thinking that if you just contact them directly without going through those comparethemarket websites it actually cheaper? or makes no difference?

i guess its the governments way to price us off the roads i guess and force us to use public transport or electric cars. Problem with that is theres no way i can use public transport to go to work as i need it to go to site visits :( oh well hopefully the lorry drivers will have blocked all the roads into london when it gets too stupid prices.

yeah its pretty shocking when they cant justify it when the oil prices are almost half of what it was last summer. You know someone is taking the micky mouse with the fuel prices

if i knew that the money was going back into maintaining roads and motorways then perhaps it wouldnt be so bad but the problem for me now is i just dont trust a word the government say. I think one of the reasons was to use the extra money to improve public transport or some rubbish

i guess the big question is... when shall we fill up? 31st August? or play it safe and fill her up on the 30th Agust? mmm decisions

Hello folks, as we all know that the government hate drivers, i was wondering when this stupid excuse of a government is going to start slapping on the 2p tax hike on to fuel at the pump. Anyone have any inside knowledge because i suggest everyone to fill up to the max before the price gets jacked up. as the little voice in asda says. just fitted the Falkens 452 to my front and it feels much better but hard to explain it. The guy said my rear tyres are hitting the limit and probably has 1 month left in them and was wondering should i get another set of Falkens or try Toyo T1R for my Rear? what you think folks? or should you have the same set of tyres for all 4 wheels?

ive been interested in modding my the exterior of my car since i got it in Jan 09. The front bumper im interested in but worried about what my insurance company will try and charge me. Ive been driving just under 2 years and im 30 so im hoping they wont bump up the price to stupid levels. How much would it cost to spray the tte front bumper?

i think i avg 35mpg but its mainly motorways a bit of town driving when getting into work. The most ive got out of the car is 450miles and then the emergency light pops up :) ive been testing a few things like filling half tank (30l) and its hitting 225miles no problem :)

i still think its a money making scheme... 37mph isnt going to cause a fatality considering you can break fast enough to not hurt anyone also pedestrians also have to be aware of traffic too. grrr i hate this government... are they still considering going to increases petrol by 2p in september?

i bought the car in jan 09 and the subaru dealer who did a full service before i took it away. 10k miles later ive hit 36.6k miles and i was wondering if theres any known issues when its hit that type of mileage?

mines not quite MOT related but more service time. Is there anything i should be wary off? im planning on taking to Lexus for service so im wondering if they will try and dirty tricks like saying my brake pads are gone or suspension is buggered etc etc because im more likely to take their word for it since im not too sharped up about cars.
