  1. I've just got round to replacing mine, only to find it's the wrong one. So I have a screen model 86111-53010. £20 if you want it ? Chris
  2. Guys Not sure where these are as my card had be cloned and closed as a precaution. I am back in the UK, but fingers crossed, my friend will bring them back once delivered to the hotel. Chris
  3. I did want a black one so it would blend in, but for a quick mod, it'll save me hacking up the standard intake,
  4. Guys I'm currently doing some training out here in the US. I'm flying back Friday, so by the skin of my teeth, should be bringing back two JoeZ intakes for IS300. They had run out of black ones, so these will be polished (better than nothing). I am going to use one and want to sell on the other. Not sure if anyone on here is interested or just to put it on EBay to make it fair ? Thanks Chris
  5. How come the pipe steps down before the throttle body ? Won't that cause a restriction or was the the orignal diameter ? Whitey
  6. Something to do with the way flies see coloured flowers from the air. They might think your car is a massive flower . . .
  7. I'm not expecting any power gains, if anything to be honest !
  8. Guys Anyone tried removing and capping the resonator chamber on the intake piping ? I might try and cut it off and use a silicone hose joiner over the hole left behind . . . Well, at least when my warranty runs out . . . Chris
  9. Quick Update : Dealership has done a smart repair on the dash - involving sanding/filling/spraying. Let's say it's not perfect, but I am very happy with the result. Whitey
  10. Guys - done these today - no problems. Not sure if it's been said before though, but I reckon you can install these without having to remove the bumper and fish the cable through . . . Chris
  11. I *think* it's roughly £14k, £16k, £18k then £21k in the last year. Then about £15/hour when in the job (if they are available).
  12. Guys, BAA has started recruiting for Apprentices: http://www.baa.com/portal/page/Careers/BAA...00357e120a____/ Very worthwhile opportunity, I've completed it and am very happy in the job ! Whitey
  13. I agree on the washers; they should be there, but I don't like them, lol. All they are good for is spraying washer fluid up the bonnet imo ! I can hear a second pump going when I wipe the windscreen - I presume that is the headlamp washers. Also, there is a pipe that runs across the front of the engine block - would this be for heating the washer fluid ?
  14. Well I risked it and my paint didn't fall off :) Completely washed, claybarred and wax polished the car. I was expecting something MER like - powdery, thick sort of stuff. The Colourmagic was very smooth in consistancy and went on easy. I left it a bit too long in hindsight as it was a pain to get off, but it was the first time I have waxed it. RainX'd the windows as well, see how that performs on this car. Oh, and I stuck the Lexus grille badge back on; better methinks. Whitey

  21. Sorry to read that mate, hope it you get it sorted. Guy at work did the same thing - smashed his window and roof as it hit just on the top of the screen ! doh. Chris
  22. Guys Any tips on adjusting the drivers side door catch - done it before on other cars with no problems. The door sort of bounces as it closes - no problem, just a niggle. I'd ask Lexus to it, but they'll probably mess it up. Whitey
  23. Thanks for the help guys, but a random thing occured this afternoon. Went with a friend to have his exhaust joint welded on his RS6 at Topgear, Hayes. Whilst rummaging around looking at stuff, I found a tailpipe and thought hmmmm. I've now got an unbranded tailpipe attached to my OEM backbox - you can still see the original tailpipe alas, but this will cover with deposits hopefully. I'll get some pics up when I can. Whitey
  24. Very very em how do you say, silent Yes mate it is very quiet just like the OEM one :winky: lmao ! Just checking, it must be slightly different ?
  25. Thanks for the heads up Mr Mole. I think I will visit the local Powerflow and get a tail end stuck on the original box :) Whitey Edit : Just noticed you have a HKS Silent Hi Power ? how loud/deep is it ?
