Anyone know how to spot whether the optional 17 speaker Mark Levinson is fitted or not? Photo's of the car I am buying on Friday has the ML logo on the stereo....does this mean the optional upgrade is fitted? Its not Carbon, its a regular model but does have TVD added, so maybe the new owner added some more bits..... Any way to confirm?

Thanks I saw all those and really good.....I was wondering specifically about the underwriter - Hiscox. But all sorted now I am going to go with Chris Knott.

Anyone ever used Perfomance Direct? They just undercut Chris Knott by £100......policy is underwritten by Hiscox. Anyone had any dealings/claims with Hiscox? ......so I then called Chris Knott back and they matched Perfomance Direct. Going with CK as they are underwritten by LV.

And reduced the price by £1000

What about removal of the resonator hmmmmm? I am planning to do that, as many have in the US....keep it for welding back in when needed.

Cancelled my policy with AF this morning....they couldn't get a price from the same underwriter that Chris Knott was offering. Will take out with Chris Knott as soon as my refund clears at the bank. Thanks again for your input everyone.

Sorry to hear about that Malc and thank you for your input. I think I am going to switch the cover (which hasnt started yet) over to Chris Knott as they are underwritten by LVE.

I just looked up the underwriter on Trustpilot (MarkerStudy) and its not good at all - 1 star 😞 LVE tried and tested seem like a much better option. Anyone have anything good to say about MarkerStudy?? Thanks Bill

Hi guys, I just took out a policy for an RC-F with Adrian Flux which is a pretty good deal....However I then got a callback from Chris Knott which I forgot I requested and sods law, they beat it. I think I will have to pay £30 to back out of the Adrian Flux policy (cover has not started). Price difference is only £20, however Chris Knott is including key cover (AF is not) and is underwritten by LV...... Adrian Flux is underwritten by Markerstudy. Anyone have experience dealing with and/or claiming through either of these underwriters? If my gut feeling that LV is the better to deal with, then I will do the switch, however, I may ask Adrian Flux to match the £20 lower price and add key cover if there is no difference in underwriters..... Thoughts?

Having just found out about the special 6 stage paint that is the Azure Blue, I would urge anybody that goes to view this blue RCF down in deep kent to inspect the body very very carefully. As mentioned above the dealer had the bonnet resprayed and although it looked good on the surface, I was looking at it completely unaware of the special paint required. I am also 99% sure his back street body shop did not blend in the wings or bumper as he asked them to take it off the car..... This is not to put people off, just beware 🙂

Does Lexus issue any official guidance for paint care? Do's and don'ts? I love my Meguairs Ultimate Compound....kept my IS250 looking brand new!!

Unless I get hit by a bus (which isnt likely working from home), I will soon be the very proud owner of a stunning 2015 RCF in the amazing Azure Blue. Paid our @Dave400SE a deposit and all set to purchase/collect in 2 Friday's time 🙂 Haven't seen it in the flesh, but looks stunning in the pics, low mileage with plenty of remaining warranty and buying from a fellow member is always good and very reassuring. Nice to keep the good examples circling around the club, having sold my 250 to another member 2 weeks ago too. Look forward to finally getting into the F fold 🙂, cant wait!
