    are you sure about that? ........ yap...... it's about right.... mine is auto, always get 300 - 340....... maybe I am bit nutty.... P.S. call AA or RAC, tell them you warning light came on or felt lost half of the power, they will check the error code on their laptop and give you are report if there is anything wrong with it. BTW, clean your AMS is a good idea too.....

    Hi Steve, I started to believe you are the "steve cross the road" ....... I am 99% sure you are not, just an odd feeling. He has a VXR Spent 20-30 K on the thing to imporve it and washs it everyday, no matter it snows or rains... OK, I got my spare wheel well used for a 2nd tank. (62L) I travel a bit in the car and carry quite a bit of my outdoor stuff. as you know the boot in the IS is small anyway. that's why I need to get a space saver........ any idea where to get them and the right size for it? By the way, I did check with the Dealer, £300. and I could use that money somewhere else Felix

    engine light on or off? if it's off, check the AMS (air mass sensor). I suggest don't take a guess, it could 100s things if you want to make a list, get the Coventry people look at it, check the error code if there is any. Good luck, Hope nothing too bad.

    sounds nonsense to me. most likely had the airbag replaced, actully maybe had the whole steering replaced, as they only get hold of a 2nd hand part from an Automatic. that's my guess. Felix

    who cares about the fuel economy? actullly I do..... anyway.... so lexus2000! you check with yours, if they are different, you have an issue. Make sure your test it on a flat motor way! get it checked out. Felix

    1st report: 50mph / rev: 2000 rpm On D 60mph / rev: 2500 rpm On D 60mph / rev: 3500 rpm On 3rd 70mph / rev: 2900 rpm On D 80mph / rev: 3100 rpm On D of cos I didn't go any faster than that.... let me know if anyone wants the Pics, couldn't be asked tonight.... Felix

    Hi guys....... the pictures are mine last night. not Lexus2000. I did have engine light on for past a few days, and it has been sorted now. I don't think I have any issue with my Auto box at all. Auto box was service by the B'ham Lex just after new year. the pictures I put up there are only to show lexus2000 my speed/rev ..... I will take a few different ones tonight show you guys later... Ta...

    update: Did speak to Andy at poole this morning. Again, he went out of his way to help. (don't want to get him into trouble, so no details here). it's all sorted now. save myself at least 105+VAT and half day off work to pay B'ham Lex the visit. Thanks again Felix Will buy you a few drinks next time I am in Poole ( I do jet ski there)

    as promissed: sorry about the iphone camera is crap. Try to drop to 3rd from D when going at 60mph, see if the rev goes up or no change. 2000 RPM at 50mph 2500 at 60mph

    I don't pay too much attention to the Rev counter, but it sounds bit high. 3000rpm at 60mph. did you have anything like PWR down? Will check the rev counter for you tonight on the way to home. Felix
