I tend to agree with the above as I know my sister overfilled her car once and blew the engine as the piston pressure was too high, I think though that it definately depends on how much over it is, I would speak with Lexus and ask their thoughts on the excess you have measured, then if necessary drain some from the sump plug although it will be messy!!

No the IS300 doesn't have bi-xenon lights, only dipped. Cheers for the reply, I shall look into uprating these then me thinks.

I have the HIDs as standard on dipped, don't know if I do on main beam as they don't seem as good as could be when relative to the dipped, does anyone know? (Got IS300)

What appears to be dodgy, must be missing something? Aren't the Beams engines normally around 210 bhp? Just wondering as its got no reserve and likee buying things cheap :)

If you put search into ebay for breaking lexus, quite a few come up.

I've heard the red ones are better than the yellow but harder to come by is this correct? Is there much difference?

I paid about £150 inc Vat from Lexus for the TTE springs, lowered nicely not sure on the amount.

I would say it sounds like the battery is dead, when I disconnected my battery the beeping came from the boot to say that the power had gone. I would test that first then check the alternator is charging it!

O and yeah not core plugs, my mistake, think i meant the coil pack, if this has them?

Hi Ormi, I tried resetting the ECU the other day by disconnecting the battery for an hour? Would you recommend pulling the fuses? I did read the thread on changing the spark plus which doesn't sound like fun!! The car has 97020 on the clock and does have full Lexus service history. The only wiring plugged in is on the air flow sensor that plugs into the intake pipe so will double check them. Russ

Hi all, Any Ideas? When I am in fourth and fifth gear I seem to have a loss of power at 4.5k revs, they seem to die off then it it pulls again, like a blip in power momentarily! I have had two suggestions 1 - the engine doesn't like the K&N Typhoon I have fitted. 2 - the spark plugs or core plugs need changing. Anyone else any thoughts or knowledge Cheers

how much you thinking of spending???even if you got a lip for £80 you'd be looking at a bit for painting.also wont the car look a bit funny with out at least the rear to mach the front.? As above and if you're spending, say £80, then it's prob worth spending the little bit more for the better quality! This is the one from Lexus, that they sent me

I have been looking at the TRD parts mentioned and spoke to Lexus Bristol, TRD front lip was £143 inc VAT TRD Skirts were £312 inc VAT TRD rear lip was £162 inc VAT They are unpainted so you would need to get sprayed and fitted! I would go for the front bumper like Ormi's, I got one the other day :) (not fitted yet) Russ

I have Xenons and yellow fogs, seem to be standard on mine, looks pretty good I think, will post pics after I've been out :)
