Well if that's an LE as advertised it's been resprayed and the grille is also wrong. The LE (200 & 300) came in the dark(ish) metallic grey Lexus called Kodiak Sky.

Yup, still have the original in my bought from new March '04 IS 200 LE. Never had to touch it thus far although I'll be suprised in it does another winter.

Hi all, My IS200 LE is due for its 60k/6 year service next March. My local indie has quoted £142 +vat for the belt, idler & tensioner and labour is 3 hours @£50+vat p.h. I'll source the parts more cheaply myself. They said they'll have a look at the water pump when their 'in there' so to speak. Hopefully should be o.k. as some 'o' rings were replaced by Lexus just before it came out of warranty. Mike

OK I've had a little chat with the GM at Lex Hadleigh and he's due to call me back later with the exact details of the updated spec. He also says that no one at the dealership would have known of this update when we went to look at the LE. (about 4 weeks ago) Anyway whatever the outcome of this I think their timing on this issue sucks and I'm sure there will be other LE owners reading this who feel the same way. Mike
