  1. Well as said the cat was replaced anyway just before xmas as that bit of the exhaust was knackered. I recon its a faulty sensor on bank one, will do a resistance check on it to see if its functioning correctly. As if it was the cat I would think it would show 2 faults one for bank one and one for bank two. Am I right is thinking the front 3 cylinders is classed as bank 1?
  2. Done a bit of digging around. The code is possibly related to the difference in reading from the pre cat 02 sensor and the post cat 02 sensor. Now I had a new centre section of the exhaust (bit with the cat in) fitted just before xmas by kwik fit. Do you recon it could be related to this? Might pop it back to quick fit to ensure its not leaking or anything.
  3. Right then had a Engine Management light come on on my IS200 on Friday. So bit the bult and took it to my local Lexus (Wolverhampton, top service) they diagnosed the fault as P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank #1) The guy said it was nothing to worry about and reset the ecu checked the car over and gave me an excellent report. Just wondered if anyone knows what can cause this and how/if it can be fixed? also just to add it made no different to the way the engine reaced/drives at all. Comments welcome.............
  4. On Japarts.co.uk think this is what you are after Product Track Rod End Inner Parts no JADT387152
  5. Not to sure. Depends if that arm will come out and then if you can get the part as a spare. Might be quicker and easier to change the lot
  6. Everythings do able. You can get second hand steering racks from ebay. Give it a go
  7. They are a complete pain had to cahnge one of mine the other week. Open boot and take of the liner on the boot lid. Then there are 4 gold threads with 7or8mm bolts on remove these then this will allow you to remove the boot handle with a bit of a wiggle. Then the light units slide to one side and come out or a small flat blade screwdriver to help push them to one side so you can get them out helped me.
  8. When the weather gets a bit better I'll be taking it apart to see if I can sort it out.
  9. ONly had mine for a month so won't be getting shot for a good few years yet, I would say at least 3-4
  10. Ok then, couple of random issues with my 200 1) The passenger side mirror can't be moved with the controller (drivers works fine) 2) Passenger side mirror heating does not work (drivers works fine) 3) The passenger side air vent blows out colder air than all other vents I have checked the fuse for the mirror looks ok, but can someone comfirm the right fuse location so I know that I've got the right one. Might change anyway Comments welcome on all problems, Cheers

  14. Sounds like fun, NOT. At least your ok and the car. I had close one last night there is alot of water running of a field near my house, went round it last night and it was a nice ice lake. The lexus didn't like that and I didnlt like the van I enarly hit on the other side of the road with the tail of the car. Would not have been good after 3 days of ownership. Be careful oout there people
  15. Is that on the bottom right when looking at the front of the car? Can it be accessed easy enough without removing anything from the car? Can I get to it from underneath?
  16. Just wondering where is the best place to drain some coolant out of my IS200? I need to top up with some anti-freeze, but unsure best way to drain some fluid off. A pic or two would be good. Thanks in advance

  19. Excellent. Thanks alot Jay thats what I need someone who knows what to look for. On the write up it says about the ac part that you need type A and B bulbs. Which one of the above three are those. I'm not bothered about the heated seats or TC etc being orange just want the dash and AC to be white.

  21. Hi New here and want to fit a single din HD unit to my IS200 and whilst there thought I might as well chnge the dash and central cluster lights to LED's. So after reading this link http://my.is/forums/f90/how-change-your-ma...ds-pics-359216/ I'm happy with what to do and how to do it. But where can I get the correct type of LED's from in the UK? Can someone point me in the right direction so I can buy them. Thanks in advance :)
  22. Just thought I'd say hi. Got my first IS200 last night and loving it. Did have a Subaru legacy before but not had a car for a couple of months. It came up at the right price so I had to have it. Few things to sort out and change but nothing major jsut to make the car more mine. So expect a few questions.
