  2. So to remove the orange part you just take the lenz off the front pull the chrome part off then remove the orange part then reassembe them. Am i right??? Only want to remove orange part, quict like the chrome. Gary

  4. I love clean front lights and i hate it when manifactors put clean bulbs for indicators and orange strips/ filters. On past cars i have replaced the clear bulb with chrome bulbs and got ride of the orange various ways. Is it possible to do this on the lexus??? gaz
  5. Hopefully picking a blue on up tomorrow. Already haver found a trd kit so hopefully pick car up tomorrow and then next week to the body shop to sort out little bits of the body work and get the kit sprayed and kitted. So will not be driving it till least mid- late this month Already have a image in my head of what i want the car to look like. Plans will be reveiled soon as i found wheels with the right off set in the style i like Also is there any members in the plymouth area??? Gary
  6. i got a dual sport cat back exhaust system on IS done my MIJ for about 550GBP Are you running one or 2 pipes under the car?? Does anyone know if it is possible to get ride of the part of the manifold where the two pipes meet (Exhaust manifolds from the block) and run two separe pipes completly under the car??

  9. Hello Im looking at buying a is200 soon. i have been looking round for wheels to go on it, and im woundering can you get away with running- 18*8.5 with an offset of 30 or 36 on the front then 18*9.5 with either an offset of 10 or 35 on the rears Gary
  10. Am i right in thinking sports have already been dropped 30mm?? If so will the tte springs lower it anymore or the sports alreay on tte springs as standard???
  11. i have just looked at insuring a standard is200. Im 20, 1 year ncb, 1 accident, 3 point. My insurence company want extra 100 pound on the 1k im already pauing I dont think thats that bad
  12. looked at 3 or 4 already in the area and this is the nices so far. Already got a quote of a shop i always use for spraying and they said will be 300 for the bumper and bonnet. (At mates rates) But will give quote a 600 qhich he would normal charge.
  13. Hi i am looking at buying a is200. I have found one on a x reg in blue with 71k on the clock, sport modle, Clean car but the lacker on the bonnet is starting to crack and there are the usuall stone chips on the front bumper for a 10 year old car. has a full lexus service history.   15. Did lexus not do a carbon dash?? Just found a is200 se on auto trader with on. Is it an optional extra??
  16. With the heater controls, you could order soon custom stickers with the sympols and then wrap the concel then stick the stickers on. Also to solve the problem of cutting it round you could strip the heater controls out the cut it ruffly then just tuck the over cuts in the hole, then but controls back in. Also how hard is this stuff to work with???

  18. Has anyone got any pics of the 2 kits. Also i noticed on piston heads that there afew with one of the kits and it looks like the cut out of the exhaust on the bumper and rear skirt does not match up. Is this normal or would it mean they fitted a replica kit? Also how hard are aero kits to get 2nd hand??
  19. good job looking at sport then lol. how hard is it to get hold of the standard aero kits and are they any diffrent to the trd kit??? Just i love the rear skirt. Also noticed that on one or two of them ive looked at on the net with the standard aero kit the cut out on the rear skirt and the cut out on the rear bumper round the exhaust done line up- Would this be because the angle photo taken or not a real kit. Sorry for all the questions it just im a very picky person and i will not spend a £1 on anything for my car if i not 100% with what will look like so dont want to spend 3k+ on a car found that been given wrong info by someone selling car.   21. Or you could look into getting sport cat, which is hi- flow cat but car should still meet emissions test. Also does anyone know how restrictive the standard manifolds are. Gary

  23. Have no idea mate lol I not got a lex yet, hopefully will be getting on in march. i would recommend hks or a jap company like that but someone on here will be more able to help you with that. Gary
