  1. Cool... Quite like the look of the LED rears (no 3) too :) will have to see how the funds stretch!
  2. Hi, Take a look at Invisible Touch Detailing, these guys do paint correction and are geniuses...
  3. Might well be interested in the LED Fogs though, when do you think you'll have a price?
  4. Hoping Patrik doesn't mind... This is P.Lindblom's link that I've nicked. Lets you "try on" a few different rear light/fog light styles on an IS200. Don't know if all the versions listed above are there, but still worth a look! Interactive IS200 Light thingy Cheers Dave
  5. Always thought it needed better recognition :)
  6. I was worried about the same noise till my brother told me it was just stuff cooling down... :)
  7. Care to write up a how to for the workshop area Stu? I'm still a bit nervous about anything mechanical :D
  8. I run my own IT consultancy, hiring myself out to the highest bidder... :)
  9. Like anything else legal mate, don't worry about it unless you get the metaphorical knock on the door... Anyway, these cameras wouldn't be much cop if they always took pictures of the car behind the one that was speeding... Seem to recall Top Gear tried to work out how fast it would need to be to get through without being caught and it turned out you needed to be doing 175mph! Based on that, any picture the camera has taken should be of the speeding vehicle - the ambulance. Both its pics would have been taken before you entered the shot - or the courts are in for a hell of a time... cheers Dave By the way - I'm no lawyer, this is all personal opinion...
  10. Looks pretty good to me too :)
  11. Thanks Nik - the threads I could find all referred to the dome light as opposed to the map light, but it's more than likely the same process, lever it out with a screwdriver... Cheers for the help mate
  12. :) 43 views and nobody knows? :) Some of you lot have rebuilt entire cars... nobody's ever needed to change a courtesy bulb then? :D
  13. I'd be interested to see how this goes as well - pics please mate! :)
  14. Sounds good to me Jason, can you PM me the payment details and I'll get it sorted for you right away? Thanks mate!

  16. Hi, I need to replace the bulb in the front courtesy light for my IS200. I can't see anyway to remove the plastic light cover to get at the bulb. Boneheaded question: do I have to pull the whole unit down, or have I simply missed something? And yes, you really can gauge my mechanical expertise from this question...
  17. I was a couple of cars behind you, admiring the shine... Also, a couple of streets away from me along Lasswade road is an LS with reg plate L3XUX... not sure if that plate's complimentary or not...
  18. Welcome along to the club, allan B) B)
  19. Aye, Nick, it's a Scots expression... Though I'd add not having any other form of transport means my Lex took me the 20 odd miles from Edinburgh to Livingston this morning despite the snow...
  20. To each his own I guess.... But not for me ta!
