  1. Gotta be a GOLD member to try and sell stuff on here matey...
  2. Lexus do indeed still sell the TRD skirt, think it's about £170 odds unpainted? So you'll have to cough up for it to be painted and fitted (unless you're confident about having a go yourself) PM ACLex about it, he works in Lexus parts, and has posted somewhere on here (need to use search as I can't remember where, maybe his January Sale thread) a list of the TRD Part numbers, and prices etc
  3. Is there a LOC Stand this year?
  4. You could try http://www.247spares.co.uk - you tell it what you want and the request is mailed to car breakers up and down the country and they get in touch with you to let you know what they have, price etc. Hope you get sorted out soon!
  5. That's a lovely 350z matey, bet you'll be sad to see it go! The Lexus IS is a lovely car imho - but definitely worth making use of search on here to see what problems people have had to make sure you know what to watch out for when buying. Welcome to LOC!
  6. I've never fitted it, so I can't actually say, although it'd depend on the mapping applied (correct me if I'm wrong there) This is the Unichip website, so worth a look there for more info...
  7. Hi, PM Maurice (username benfur) as he's a breaker, of LSs and can be trusted on here just fine... Cheers & hope you get sorted, Dave
  8. Hi, I've got a UNICHIP that you can buy if you want, selling for £160 posted. Would probably need a remap on your car, but then so would any piggyback ecu you bought anyway :) Not got round to a For Sale thread, but PM me if you're interested? Cheers Dave
  9. Certainly possible, but you need to make sure you get ALL the bits for it... Someone has details on here somewhere, the Search function will help you find a walkthrough or similar for the whole thing.
  10. Welcome back then matey, look forward to seeing some pics etc once you get it! And a hearty "good man!" to Dr B for his offer, that's very generous of him...
  11. I did this when one of my lights was out, but on reassembling the darn light wouldn't go back properly... The one I changed moves under my fingers when I lift the boot etc, and the one that didn't need changed doesn't... What did I do wrong?
  12. Nick, you coming back to the Lexus world so soon then?
  13. You can totally see the difference in this one, it's literally blacked out from view isn't it? Compare that with mine (not quite the same angle, but still... you can see through the window to the car interior... Thanks for that mate, I'll give it some more consideration now :D :D
  14. Looks cool Mr Mole, what's the %age of visible light from them?
  15. Hi all, I've seen an IS200 around Edinburgh with way darker windows than mine... Presumably these are aftermarket tints? I thought they looked good, has anyone on here got them done? I'd like to see pics if you have, trying to decide if I want to go that dark - what's the visibility like from the inside etc? Cheers in advance... Dave
  16. Member jordanscott is selling some GS 18" wheels if that helps? Check the for sale area for his thread.
  17. Would prob depend on their size mostly Ian, if they're 18s you'll get more than 17s... But do watch out as trying to sell stuff on here without being a GOLD Member gets the naughty stick waved at you...
  18. To get at the screws, you might need to take the bumper off, or at the very least jack up the car, remove the underbody covering to gain access to where the washers are. The washers are screwed into the covers with (as above) 2 self tapping screws.
  19. PM ACLex on here, he had a few key internals he was selling, he might have one left - then pick up a key case off ebay for a fiver. One key all sorted, then follow the instructions on here to code the key to your car yourself... Job done, all at about 5% of the price...
  20. That totally sucks... had a bash in mine at the end of March, my bumper went into a Transit's towbar in the snow.... Just had my insurance renewal and my NCB dropped from 70% to 55% (so not a total loss on it) but the premium jumped about £200 as well as a result...
  21. Oh I dunno Tommy, last night on Top Gear Tom Cruise got the reasonably priced car onto two wheels.... does that count?
  22. Personally I'm impressed your car is a 2206 model... does it run on cold fusion yet
  23. ;) that's cos your wife is a traffic cop ormi... reckon the insurers probably presume she's a low risk!
