Just want to ask all drivers of modified cars I drive daily, and when i see drivers of the same model car they do tend to stare a lot (except some women and elderly people) Some stare so much when driving past I think if they look any longer their car will end up being a write off due to lack of attention! I admit sometimes I lose concentration because I give them a look back. I sometimes feel embarassed when someone pulls up beside me and inspects the nack then slowly edges forward to inspect the front, then burn my face with their eye rays, I think I may get tints! Just want to know if anyone else has had any strange straring experiences with drivers of the same model car that your driving because its done up..??

Thats a good point, I dont seem to think of the basic things when there is £100+ possible saving infront of me. But will get one from a UK audio shop locally, atleast if I have any problems I can get there without a plane ticket.

The one i have my eye on looks good, I have seen it selling on ebay from an american store, it is tempting me because it is more than £100 cheaper than anywhere in the uk including postage! But is there some sort of catch, beacuse it seems too good to be true, would I get stung by customs or some other EU law by the time it gets here, I can just imagine that being the case!?

Decided im going for the double din unit to keep it inline with the dash, think it would look much neater than a flip out screen.

Thats good, glad you got it sorted. Im goin to be messing with wires soon as someone cut out original harness to take original stereo because they couldnt be arse to just plug them out!

Try and exchange it and hook it up again, atleast then you can eliminate wether you have a faulty harness.

If you havent already chosen one go for the Sony XAV-70BT, its within your budget and im sure bluetooth is built in. plenty of connection options, really good for the price!

Well just bought a Windscreen removal kit, so will be having a go at that soon

I would deffinately say yes if they had manual instead of Auto, so its the 200 for me.

I agree with you in the sense you pay for quality. Where did you get these from, ive had a lil search on the net but can't find a website that sells them for the IS200

Are you going to change the screen yourself? If so what tools do you have to do this because I will be replacing mine soon just need the tools.

It will be hard to get one, im in the market but just waiting, there is a brand new TTE Rotrex Kit you can get but thats around £5000!!

Im with Flux and i checked out a quote for uprated brake discs and the difference was near £800 extra over the year, so they are as bad as many others!

Just found out that my car battery is dead so I will need a new one. Want to know if anyone has replaced their battery and which ones to go for. Will spend up to around £75

Oo its alright I didnt't realise they would still sell the lights being as its for the older model. They never did at Vauxhall. Thanks anyway

Ive ordered the autoleads facia, Ive seen many threads with people saying they need to be modified for a good fit which I don't mind doing. Just want to know what level of sand paper did you use to rub it down?

Hi all Lexus IS200 Drivers. I am in the market for some new drilled grooved brake Discs for the front and rear. Ive got my eyes on a brembo set, they are £300 for the front and rear discs. Ive also seen an mtec set for £175 Now does anybody kno if there is a difference in what brand discs you buy or is it simply just brand name you are paying for? Any help appreciated.

Which lights are you after? ebay does have a few replacement Rear lights that I've seen
