Bang on the 12V line, I had concerns about this too... In the lexus book it shows the needle pointing to 9 and says if yours is different then take it to dealer not just me then

Ok i have had my IS 200 sport for about 4 months now, I LOVE THE CAR but when i got it there were some marks on the dash, the hard plasticky bit to the left of the centre consoley bit, under the srs airbagy bit lol. Tecnical aint i? I have pics of this but being from Barnsley and being a little thick i aint a clue how to add them It looks like at some time someone has tried to clean the windscreen with something thats dripped off and marked it. Everytime anyone gets in the passenger seat they look at the marks, lick their finger AND RUB IT LIKE F**K! Can i get this re coated? Or get a new hard plasticky bit to the left of the centre consoley bit under the srs airbagy bit?

I wouldn't bother with a DIY job, just had all mine done for £180 and they look as new. Mine had been badly kerbed by the last owner Best £180 i ever spent! Get em done right, even my mrs thinks it was money well spent and thats a first!

I got the Squeaky Seat too paul on my 28K miles IS and also got that rattle in the back, it does my head in!!! Let us know when you find out where its coming from. Seems you aint the only person with these problems STILL A GREAT CAR THOUGH :D Wouldnt swap it for the world.

I got the cd system too, apart from a tyre change and me NOT reading the manual i aint had any problems. Last week it took me from yorkshire to london without a single wrong turn. THE WIFE WAS WELL IMPRESSED! Not one raised voice!!! Now thats a first Looks like its a job for the dealer mate

Try insure.co.uk I have been with them about 3 yrs now and had no problems. Its a direct line company but quite a few quid cheaper than them. Think this years premium was £360 fully comp for 1999 IS200 sport :D

I'm same as tony, press once & one flash = alarm, deadlocks and sensors. Press twice & get 5 flashes with sensors disabled. I think Gawd you got me thinking now!
