Just fitted a Brink detachable towbar and need to remove the plastic part behind the grill. Anyone know the easiest way to remove the grill? Cheers.

Does anyone know if the IS 200 has shock absorbers in the bumpers like the B :tsktsk: W's?

Is there an adapter plate for the quickshift? If so, these can sometimes be moved / slackened with the gear change, causing missalignment and the inability to select certain gears.

I'm sure there's been a thread about this before, As far as I can remember you've hit the nail on the head, I think it's the pads moving in the calipers as you change direction. I know I'll be corrected if I'm wrong!!

This happens with the air con off. If I set the dial to blow air to any other place, ie not auto, then the warm air belts out, but when on auto there's nothing, no blow no heat!

Avoid the mother-in-laws, Always bloody freezing (cold shoulder) and the chance of food poisoning is very high!!!

Ok Both dials to auto, jump into the car on a cold morning and the fans don't kick in with hot air with the temp dial up. ?????????????????????????

Fuel pump relay?? Had this on a VW. It would work intermittently. Sometimes it was fine, other times it would stall or just would'nt start. Took me weeks to figure it out.

Anyone know if there is such a paint product that can be painted or sprayed over dashboards or interior plastics? Just bought the wife a Rav 4 and it needs a little cosmetic attention. Any help appreciated. I had a look for the thread where someone used a gold paint on their Lex but could'nt find it. Cheers.

Colin Apparantly Lexus Edinburgh are part of the Eastern Western group who have their own bodyshop. I don't think it should really matter who does the work, as long as it comes up to the much publicised "Lexus Standard" first time! Feeling a bit let down :( by Lexus.

If anyone is about to get work done at Lexus Edinburgh regarding bodywork repairs please pm me. My car is going back for the fourth time next week due to a catalogue of botch-up's. Already been to Lexus GB and to management at Edinburgh, cost me at least 350 miles on the clock and the petrol to go with it. The work was carried out under warranty. Won't go into details here, but please ensure you FULLY inspect your car when you get it back!!! Cheers.

Looking for some guidance. Is it possible to manually adjust the clutch to raise the biting point or is it hydraulic? Just got my 2000 is 200 sport back after some warranty work done on the bodywork, but after driving an 03 plate courtesy car I noticed a dramatic difference to where the biting point is. I've only had the car 4 weeks from Lexus Leicester. Would'nt expect to fork out for a clutch so soon after buying the car. Cheers.

Just had a look at the Lexus warranty which (if i've read it correctly!) states that the warranty will be void if the car is converted to LPG!!

Recently purchased an Astral Black Is 200 Sport and have tried a couple of different polishes but can't seem to get rid of the haze which is left. Can anyone recommend anything?? Tried Autoglym and Mer. Is it 'cos it's black?!?!
