I get quite a lot of these calls but they show up on caller ID as interantional so i guess thats there way around the "calling from within the UK" thing!.The callers accents seem to be south african and asian.I was thinking of getting BT's Choose to Refuse and just blocking them.

So why would you need 4 outputs from a head unit to an amp? this is wat i cant understand. i thought it woulda been 2 outputs to the amp and 4 from the amp to the speakers. but i may be totally worng.

Can anyone explain why the big head unit connector has 8 wires then? i thought it would onl be 4 wires max left and right out front /rear.

Does any 1 have any pics of the stock amp in situ.I had my whole centre unit and glovebox out today but couldnt see the amp anywhere and a friend said that because the head unit has front/rear fade on it there prolly isnt an amp.So is it possible that because i only have the 'S' there is no amp? I noticed that the head unit had 2 plugs in it. 1 had 4 wires which i presume is premanent live, Ign live ,earth and remote,and the other connector had 8 wires which im thinking is the speakers (2 for each corner). please corrcet me if im wrong. I have ordered a sony CDX-M850MP MP3 head unit and a pair of Infinity 9603i 6x9's. should i be ok to install these or could there be problems? Any input would be greatfully appreciated :)

Well im totally happy with mine m8.Lower ride height than the eibacks and ride is still comfertable.I had eibacks on my last car and i thought the ride was much harsher.

Yeah i seen the blaupunk ones but im not over keen on the look of them. 1 Xtra is the ONLY reason i want DAB :)

I dunno if any1 knows about this but it doesnt seem to have been mentioned b4. After hours of trauling the net for a facia adapter for my IS200 and only finding 1 american site that had them but in cheap looking stippled effect i decided to go to my local car audio centre and set them a challenge. A challenge that turned out not to be as challenging as i originally thought lol.the first company he phoned (autoleads) claimed to have them and they said its a relativly new product.So the guy got me a price (£25) and a Part number (which i forgot to ask for).I told him to leave for now as my plan was to do a little research and maybe try and organise some sort of group buy on here.so i returned home and looked on the audioleads website but they had no mention of the adapter,so i called them up and the not so helpful lady told me that they dont sell to the public and that they dont do the product anyway :duh: so i rang them again this morning and told them that my local car audio had phoned them in my prescence and was given a part number and surprise surprise the part number magically appeared on there computers :) Progress :) I then proceded to Halfords because i knew they do audioleads stuff and gave them the part number and ask them to get me a price. Now i dont know if it was a mistake but he came back with a price of £16 :):) needless to say i have one ordered,and it should be here in the next couple of days.He also got me a price and part# on a wiring loom adapter but that was £28 so i left that because i wanna see wat sort of juob is involved first. Anyway sorry for the novel lengthed post but im quite chuffed that ive actually found an aftermarket product for my Lex, and a quite cheap and sought after one at that :) Facia Adapter FP-2500 Wiring Adapter PC9 406 Ill post pics as soon as it arrives :)

As far as i remember from my colledge mechanic days lol the clutch release bearing is only spun when the clutch pedel is pressed.And the gearbox input shaft is spun when the pedel is let out.

Can you give us the model of the bulbs(leds) that we need and if possible a url for getting them plz ;)

I think if the car was sat on its @rse they would look sweet m8 :) but i know wat you mean about being undecided....as the car is there neither shokkin or stunnin.
